Right for me, back to 4-3-3: (providing everyone is fit)

    Stek
    Cedric
    Fonte
    Yoshida
    Targett
    Vic
    Romeu
    Davis
    Mane
    Pelle
    Tadic

Only difference possibly for me would give Juanmi a start in place of Davis to see what he can do, this is a game where we should dominate the ball so I would like to see what Juanmi is all about.

I'd seriously consider giving young Matty some protection and leaving him out. Maybe put Yoshi LB and Caulker in.

I would be tempted to drop Pelle and play Mane up front. Then put in JWP, Juanmi, or Davis. But I'm somewhat grasping at straws here. There is nothing wrong with that lineup, other than it looks too much like the lineup that's been stinking it up (other than Tadic, which I think will help).

    Stekelenburg
    Cedric - Fonte - Caulker - Targett
    Wanyama - Romeu
    Mane - Davis - Tadic
    Long

I'd really like to see whether we persist with the "lump it to the striker" tactic without Pelle as a target. Now seems as good a time as any.

I just don't think that line-up is going to leave Norwich quaking in their boots. From somewhere Ron needs to think leftfield to create more creativity and goals. There's a guy called Nolan who could get 8-10 goals in the season. Sign him up because Davis and JWP certainly won't!

Hardly Pelle's fault we spent most of last night lumping it up to him. I'd start him and Jay together again, with Tadic on the left and Mane on the right. But with everyone instructed to keep the ball on the ground (except when under pressure on the edge of our own box).

    Stek

    Cedric Fonte Maya Targett
    .....Wanyama Romeu
    Mane Rodriguez Tadic
    ..............Pelle

Oh god please no. If our answer to "we need more creativity" is Nolan running on to knockdowns, I might have to take up knitting or something else that'd be infinitely more exciting than watching Saints.

We need someone to get on the end of Pelle's knock-downs. OK, Nolan may not be the most sublime of players, but ..... My own feeling is he'll go to Sunderland, Norwich or Bournemouth, or, a top Championship team like Portsmouth!!!

Alternatively, we could stop punting the ball to Pelle and instead play the style of football that has brought us considerable success.

To be fair, team aside I just want us to not go long to Pelle all ****ing game, get the ball down and play it, that's where our strengths lie, get Dusan & Mane involved and chances should come our way. Then we just have to take one (or 2!).

Switch Tadic and Jay and that would be threatening, though may get over run as none of the front 4 defend naturally. In two of the last three games Pelle has started to hold the ball up well. The flip side is he doesn't give us the right type of runs/movement.

    Who'd be a manager?

Do you seriously suggest the answer to our problems is Kevin Nolan? Put the athletics back on quick :)

Sadly, I'd put Jay right about at the bottom of my list of starters at the moment...

Why? He didn't have a good game last night and made the mistake for the goal, but in the other games he has started (emphasis on this word) to look like he is just needing a few more games. Surely, you're not writing him off after last night?
