Nope. I said "at the moment" because "at the moment" I don't think he looks match sharp. I would bring him on for 30 minutes and tell him to run at people. Get back that gift for running with the ball (which drew the foul which got Tim Sparv booked) and I would start him. But not "at the moment".
Ok, that's fair enough. That works for me. I certainly think he has shown glimpses and needs game time. Doing that for half an hour at the ned is ok. *can I be your assistant?*
How good? I won the League, cup and Champions League treble with Crewe and QPR? Ps. I can tell you are a Champ Manager Old School legend, because you called it Championship Manager, rather than Football Manager.
I have to admit I never played Football Manager as CM was draining too much of my life and I decided to quit playing what my brother called: That spreadsheet game.
How long has it been since now you spoke to your brother? Ps. he was right. 2005 was the last one I bought and then I got it back out again in about 2010 to play with my lad so he could be the one to take the crap from the Mrs (good parenting that)
Very wise. My 5 year old loves a bit of Fifa. Unfortunately his favourite colour is blue... He knows that Pompey are crap though. He likes Ipswich 'cos they've got a horsey.
Personally I wouldn't have Targett or Tadic in but I'd pop caulker,Juanmi in,other than that it's not a starting line up that's gonna rip many teams apart
Really missing our attacking fullbacks so Cedric needs to come straight back in and hopefully Bertrand won't be too far off. Targett just isn't really cutting it and I think we will notice a big difference in performance once Ryan is back.
I understand his point regarding Nolan. Although he`s past it now, he always came in for unfair criticism IMO - he had/has limitations, but he was effective and a goal threat.
It will be interesting to see how Ryan B handles playing with no left midfielder in front of him and having the opposition right midfielder and right back bearing down on him like Targett has had to handle so far this season. I feel real sorry for Targett as he has been total exposed by our formation which contains no left midfielder
Which makes it all the more important that Tadić plays on the left, which is his best position anyway.
Hesketh is the player who pulls the strings for the U21s, he could have been part of the first team if he had not suffered an injury on his debut. probably the one player (apart from Claisse) comfortable in that no10 creative role. would love to see some creativity in the final 3rd
