Racing comes from Kinsley on Tuesday Racing comes from Kinsley on Tuesday

Timeform's Greyhounds team bring you their three best bets for Kinsley on Tuesday evening...

The first of our Smart Plays on Gymcrack Final Night comes in the shape of Hove raider Newinn Echo (20:04). Seamus Cahill's charge is a regular A1/open race performer at the Sussex venue, and arrives here on the back of a hard-fought length success over the 695 metre trip there 12 days ago. Clearly versatile as regards to trip, the March 12' son of Westmead Hawk has posted some handy sectionals on home soil previously. He should utilise his useful looking berth in Trap 1 and decent early pace to clear the others and allow him the chance to take advantage of his strong running style over this shorter 650 metre trip. The only real question mark has to be his lack of a look round tonight's venue, but given he made an impressive transition to another tricky circuit in the shape of Romford in the not too distant past (making all over 750 metres in February) we think he is worth siding with to get us off to a winning start.

Our second Smart Play selection comes in the Betfred.com Puppy over the standard 462 metre trip (20:34) in which Big Jimmy Joe looks the solid selection given that he seems near certain to make the first bend in front. According to our research around two-thirds of dogs in positions 1 and 2 at the first bend end up victorious here at this trip, and this impressive son of Premier Fantasy, whose offspring are known for their early pace, can bolster that statistic. A recent very useful time of 27.74 when just touched off by Gymcrack favourite Newinn Yolo last month doesn't do his claims any harm either. It clearly would be foolish to not mention any of the others, and the main danger may come in the shape of Vatican Boo Boo who has done nothing but improve for each outing round this tricky circuit, and a decent break may see him chase the selection home, thus giving us a very credible alternative forecast play in the race.

There are no points for originality in selecting Pat Rosney's Newinn Yolo for Gymcrack glory at 21:19, as it is difficult not to be impressed with the impression created by the October 12' youngster in his short career to date. Solidifying the impressive trial times he posted leading up to the competition, the son of Crash has been foot perfect in both rounds to date, and set a clear standard when beating kennel mate (and main danger again by the looks of things) Swift Hoffman by some 3 ¾ lengths in a calculated time of 27.43 at the semi-final stage. Although he's unlikely to have it all his own way early on with fast trapper Laughing Gravy to his immediate inside, Newinn Yolo nonetheless has the capability to come from off the pace unlike Laughing Gravy, and provided he avoids any early scrimmaging, he should be able to build up an unassailable lead. The aforementioned Swift Hoffman and still-improving southern raider Droopys Barclay, whose latest effort was better than it looked in our estimation will undoubtedly be there to pick up the pieces of any early trouble given their strong running style, and are feared most, in that order.

Rushed this up before the first of the 3 races. No idea if it's any good but I'm keen to have a look and maybe there is a slot for it somewhere.
