  13. "Real Madrid intend to make a summer move for Eden Hazard as they seek the latest galáctico at the Santiago Bernabéu. They are also considering a bid for his Chelsea and Belgium team-mate Thibaut Courtois and believe the goalkeeper would be open to the move even though he has publicly stated he does not see himself leaving London."
    (The Guardian)

Thanks to NSIS for tipping me off about this bit of news.

Worrying times for Conte and Chelsea, as the Real Madrid tapping-up machine grinds into action.

  14. Ronaldo tells Madrid: Do not sign Eden Hazard

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has told his club not to sign Eden Hazard this summer.

As reported by Spanish outlet, Diario Gol, the ageing Portuguese attacker would fear for his place in the Madrid side should Hazard arrive at the Bernabeu this summer.

Ronaldo is also keen for the club not to pursue moves for Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann and Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Veratti as he worries about the ego of the players that could arrive in Spain’s capital.

The winger has previously been linked with moves to La Liga after a number of glittering performances in the Premier League this season.

Hazard has been back to his best under Antonio Conte this season, playing a key role in Chelsea’s charge for the title.

    (Sky Sports)

Wow! With Ronaldo ****ting his shreddies about the prospect of Hazard moving to Madrid and stealing all of his thunder, you just know there's something in this!

Hazard has been a half-decent player for Chelsea, but he's going to be superb at Real.
