I had this in the PL board and bid adieu too early thinking that we got the title in the bag.
Enter Conte - who wanted to make things interesting.
Brings the Deadly trio of Cescy+Alonso +Cahill against mighty Palace and they fcuk us over.

If Conte continues with the Deadly trio for the last 8 games - we are screwed.
I know lead is 7 points - but Alex lost 8 pts in the last 6 games 5 years ago to lose the title.
Only positive is Spuds are at #2 and none of our REAL rivals.

So, no one can say ours is a bigger fcuk up. But all we need is a bit of common sense from Conte.

No Deadly trio please, then Title is ours.

City had more clear cut chance on goal than us. On that evidence it cannot be 50-50. So draw is a fair result to me.

During Palace commentary I suggested Zouma + Dave for the right hand side. Which is common sense.
Conte followed that Common Sense against City from the get go.

All he needs to do is do more of the same - common sense - to win the title.

But if he insists Conte, might become the second biggest fcuk up behind Alex Ferguson like 2012 PL title race.
    I hope that doesn't happen. I ****ING HATE 2012.

Alonzo frustrates me. He can be faultless, he can match Moses completely at times, but I realize now the Prem has some right wingers any Left back couldn't handle and he doesn't frustrate me so much.

    Comparison between Alonso & Rahman.

Rahman had Cescy & Mikel shielding him.
Terry & Cahill as Defensive partners.

Alonso has Kante & Matic shielding him
Cahill & Luiz as Defensive partners.

I would take Rahman in a heart beat over Alonso any given day.

Alonso is far from top draw but has been an integral part of the chelsea success machine but he will be replaced but from outside.

I kinda liked 2012 to be honest. An F.A. Cup and a penalty shoot-out win in Germany !

Seriously, are you ACTUALLY a Chelsea fan?
    I sometimes doubt it.
Do you remember we won the FA Cup, and became European Champions AND stopped Spurs from getting into the CL, in 2012? You remember that right?

You talk so much **** Stan <laugh>
First it was the Mikel obsession, then your insistence that Mourinho's United who were like 19 points behind us with 12 games left, were the real threat in the title run in, now Alonso and Fabregas are your new pet hate projects.
Are you our version of Astro?

He'll go off in a huff if you carry on with this you know. I must admit, I do wonder whether he is really a Chelsea fan. <laugh>

    I didn't say I hated year 2012 for Chelsea.
BUT - 2012 was worst year in my life due to my personal reasons..

Whenever any reference is made to 2012 - Always CL comes to my mind but before that my brain recalls my loss :( .

back to the point, Mourinho's Utd is the only miss calculation on my part.

I am fairly accurate with Mikel, Alonso & Fabregas. You will agree soon.

Stan is fine, just lets himself get too wound up. I'm not a big Fabregas fan either, he's too inconsistent for me and although a very good player, is not the right fit for our system as I see it. Alonso doesn't bother me. Cole was better, but Alonso has more good games than bad. However, don't get me started on Costa , or I'll be just like Stan!!
We all see things differently, that's what makes things interesting.

For me I think Costa will be off in the summer and I hope we get either Sanchez or Morata as a replacement. Looking at all your comments above I think the Alonso position needs strengthening although he has done well his end product seems lacking considering the amount of service he gets.

As for Fab, I'd keep him one more year as he can play quickly from defence to attack with his passing ability. Other than that I don't see as we need too much.
