I see MK Dons have parted company with Karl Robinson. He was regularly considered one of the best footballing coaches and even mentioned on here as a possible manager for us, but it is a results business and that did for him...
That's a shame, he seems both genuine and a proper football man. I'm sure he won't be out of work for long.
Did anyone see Mourinho go up to Conte and whisper in his ear at the end? He said ''Don't celebrate like that at 4-0. At 1-0, that's okay, 4-0 it is humiliating to us.''
I was out having another cosmopolitan evening with all my new best friends over here in the Canaries. Some of us are knowledgeable enough to enjoy a game with few goal mouth incidents. Others need to see goals to understand what the **** is happening.
[ Only joshing Col. It was a pretty dire first half, though - to my uneducated eyes at least. Here's a bit of music I think you'll like: Hope you're having a great holiday.
So How long is it going to be before WHU have to play home games behind closed doors? What a disaster the Olympic Stadium is turning out to be as a football venue.........
They got away with the attack on the Man Utd coach last season and have also not been charged over this season's regular punch-ups. Maybe Madam Brady is flashing more than a smile at the old duffers...
Our other West London neighbour, Fulham, seem to have re-invented themselves, 5-0 up against high placed Huddersfield, leaving us as the local doormat of this division. Why can't we let it all hang out and do another team in that fashion? Newcatle march on and Brighton are 4-0 up against Norwich, that should please a few here? Even lowly Rotherham are currently 2-1 up at Ipswich.
Warnock will be pissed that Wigan scored a late winner at Cardiff (Jordi Gomez), especially considering they had 19 shots, but only 4 on target. So defensively he seems to have them quite tight, not conceding many goals, but like us, not scoring. I see Derby, less nut job Pearson, now under McClaren, are performing much better now. Is there a dream manager out there, Paul Clement? Or Big Sam?
Just watched a really good match between Everton & West Ham - a deserved 2-0 win by the Toffees, despite great goalkeeping display by Adrian - wish one day that we could show up and play matches like that. Brilliant CF display by Lukaku, scoring and making goals, displaying tremendous strength and agility, a place our BFG is miles away from. Ross Barkley has also really upped his game. The commentators mentioned that Lukaku has now scored in 7 consecutive matches against West Ham, a feat shared by a certain JFH, also against West Ham.
Stoke quite easily see off Swansea 3-1 tonight - a lazy Lery Fer not performing his defensive duties contributed towards their 1st goal while Wayne Routledge scored a rare header to equalize. Now Stoke also hit the post 3 times (twice by Charlie Adam).
Watched the Swansea match last night...with eyes on Fer. I was shocked...he is so lazy. He barely broke into a run three or four times he lost the ball coming out of defence with it, and when he did he did not tackle back, sort of shrugged his shoulders. He was never looking for the ball....the ball had to be played to him. Most of the Swans were running and trying...but playing essentially with 10 men it was impossible....why is he played, why did we play him!!! We did very well getting what we did for him
Swansea and Sunderland will only be saved if the other crap teams become even worse. I went to Watford v Hull on Saturday and while Hull could have been three down in 20 minutes they played well after that and were worth a point. Burnley and Boro probably both have enough to at least get some points at home. Leroy Fer FFS Redknapp you ****.
