don't often see that, Pritchard shoots against the bar and rebounds in off Stockdale 1-0. Later he hits the post and it again goes in off Stockdale. Finishes 2-0. As I suspect, Brighton will struggle big time in the Premiership, very poor
As Ollie once said, "If he fell into a barrel of tits he'd come out sucking his thumb". When it's definitely just not your night... http://www.skysports.com/football/n...avid-stockdale-scores-two-identical-own-goals
Jeff Stelling just had a rant on SSN telling the Hartlepool chairman and board to walk away now. I admire his passion, fair play to him, hope it doesn't cost him his job with Sky.
He's done just that (again) since the International break when top of some form table and with 50 points, the dumb motherfØkker decided we were safe.
In 1994 Swindon v Coventry was a Premier League fixture, next season it will be a 4th tier fixture. Leyton Orient gone after 112 years in the Football League. We shouldn't think we are above all that, if the current level of management continues we could be next on the downward spiral...
Blackpool & Portsmouth are down there too and are more recent PL teams, although both are fighting for promotion this season, whilst it's not too distant past that both Luton and Notts County were gracing the top flight. Fingers crossed we don't end up in the same mess as those mentioned, but I hope Ollie has some sort of coherent plan for next year else he'll be out the door and we'll be scrapping at the wrong end of the table again. I don't foresee us troubling the top 8-10 positions next year with our current playing squad, but a season of mid-table stabilisation is what the club needs, before having a go the following year - constant changing of management will not help this, but we need either Ollie to get his **** together pre-season, or have someone else in who knows what they are doing, with a structured plan going forward - over to you TF/SLF......
Not a bad year for Monaco, they must love Manchester... And Man City, their victims in the Champion's League come unstuck against Arsenal...
Benteke punishing Liverpool yet again. He's scored more goals against them at Anfield than he actually scored for them...
Peach of a goal by Messi to equalise for Barca against Real in El Clasico tonight - if Real win they go 6 points clear with a game in hand, and only 5 games left so all to play for, and Bale just going off injured....
