I'm watching that match on TV and also following Sunderland v Stoke (Stoke 1-0 up), it was a bit weird that the Newcastle 1-0 scoreline popped up on Bet365 about 15 secs before the goal was scored on TV. So advantage Newcastle right now, although I would prefer to see Sunderland stay up. Sunderland also has a game in hand, so even if the current scores hold, they can leap-frog Newcastle with a win in that extra match, plus currently they have a superior GD. Now penalty to Palace - saved!
WHU 3 up at West Brom.......they will be a decent side next season, could even push Man U out of a top 4 place this season....nice
Sunderland equalize late on, 1-1 FT So now a point to Sunderland in their extra game and they are ahead of Newcastle on GD. Fulham embarrassing themselves again at Brentford who are 3-0 up.
Burton 2-1 winners over Gillingham are promoted.......and Barnsley 2-1 up are almost into the play-offs, but 2-2 now as relegated Colchester score late, with Blackpool earlier losing 4-0 are almost doomed to League Two.
Nice to see Villa revert to type, leading 2-1 with a few minutes to go and lose 3-2......we can now happily move up one position in the worst Premier League teams.........although it would have been fun to see them match Derby's all time worst points total.
No. No no...my eldest son is a big hammer and his intended too.it was a great deal...family ticket for £1100
Cardiff choked once again with their final opportunity to make it into the playoffs, losing 3-0 at Sheff Wed, who secure their spot. Meanwhile in National League South play our new (relegated) farm team Basingstoke win their second game on the trot, 2-0 away to Chelmsford - perhaps our announced involvement for next season has inspired a few of their players with dreams of the big leagues?
I was thinking, they still achieved promotion without JFH under Nigel Clough - an interesting match-up in the fixture list for next season.
