If I was manager, first thing I'd do is split up Janmaat and Sissoko. They're horrible together. Sissoko should play left, Townsend right.

It's always the same ****. Sissoko receives the ball from Janmaat, Janmaat overlaps, Sissoko commences his 'staggering/dribbling' inbetween a stagger or cocked up 1-2 with Janmaat they lose the ball against the opposition centre half and fullback, and both Janmaat and Sissoko end up being behind the opposition winger, cm and attacking midfielder, forcing one of our central midfielders to jump in, exposing the middle and bam, the central attacking midfielder is completely free 10 yards from our box, being able to either play a pass across the box to the other side or into the feet of the striker, or simply taking a shot on goal. Everytime this happens.

If Sissoko is on the left, if he does his staggering **** and gives up the ball at least Dummett won't be ahead of him exposing us completely. Either that or drop Sissoko entirely and play Perez on the right because he sure as **** plays far more responsibly in defence than Sissoko or Janmaat ever will.

 

Looked very decent today. At a stroke he's done more in the PL than Thauvin managed in half a season.

 

Talking of Thauvin, hes just had a complete blinder in his last game... I mean literally.... Blind tackle bam!

Townsend looks a good direct player for us. One thing is he tries hard and has an end product. You could almost feel his hurt at hitting the post today. He looks like he might just wear his heart on his sleeve which i like!
