Am i correct in thinking that the show has returned already with a new line up,minus the 3 stooges? How was it after the 3 idiots managed to destroy a once decent show? What about the ginger poof (rich ginger poof like) any good as a car show host?
Just watched it and enjoyed the show. I would not even watch the show while the ignorant bigot Clarkson and his sycophantic side kicks were hosting it. My only gripe is that they never seem to review normal cars that Joe public can buy which I believe was what the show started out doing..
I watched it and was so disappointed that they just done almost identical things with new hosts, this should of been a good opportunity to change the show around a bit. I don't mind the new hosts too much but wish they were themselves and not trying to be the old hosts, shame really.
I've actually met Evans and I put him right up there with Osbourne, Cameron and Alan She-Ra Can't stand him, won't be watching his latest self love fest. x
I watched it and yes the new presenters are presenting the show exactly like Clarkson etc did. But what's wrong with that? If it's not broke don't fix it. Top Gear is huge around the world, they were always going to keep the same formula.
Plenty of people love piss ant, slack **** wassicks so you may have a point. I however would rather catch aids than watch such trash.
When are this lot of presenters going to pretend to be roughing it it third hand cars in the third world? Evans driving an Allegro through Mozambique? A race through Islamic State between a Chieftain tank and a Lambourghini supercar? Must be the Christmas Special. x
I saw most of it and I wasn't keen. I'd lost a lot of enthusiasm for the old show by the time Clarkson got sacked, just an endless sequence of over elaborate stunts and set pieces and barely any interest in talking about any cars other than the most exotic ones, and this new series seems to be even worse in that regard but now without presenters I like. I'm done with it unless they do a proper reboot at some point. What I would have done is hired a few motoring journalists to present it, if one of them was a fit lass that wouldn't have hurt, and gone back to reviewing cars of a variety of prices as the bread and butter of the show, with a big road trip style feature at the end of the series.
Got it on now, absolute pile of ****. Can't help but like Matt Leblanc but apart from that, it's completely terrible.
Aye he's just about the only good thing about it, decent presenter. Chris Evans on the other hand looks way out of his depth.
He was embarrassingly trying to Mimmick Clarkson in the opening scenes... Turned it off to watch Drop Dead Fred anyway.
I don't blame you, I won't be watching it again unless it comes on and I'm too lazy to change the channel. Which does happen to be fair. Speaking of tv remotes, last night I left my phone downstairs and took the sky remote up to bed instead to put on my bedside cabinet. Don't know what that was all about.
I ordered Sky Q last week, getting it fitted on the 15th, although I'm not sure what the hell I'll watch, everything is either **** or repeats nowadays. I'm already missing the Prem.
