It almost seems normal now to have a Brit as a favourite, and while i'll always prefer the personality of Wiggo, Froome is a worthy champion and will again be favourite.

One hopes that there will be competition from Nibali and Contador, but the absence of Quintana is a blow as he was the most exciting rider last year.

Anyone going to see the British stages this year?

Off to Cambridge Sunday night (one of my daughters lives there) -up early Monday to watch the day's excitement!

Should be lots going on apart from the racing. <ok>

Saw it come through Maidstone a few years back but I would really love to see a mountain stage.

Not too many mountains around Cambridge, sadly.

Keep telling myself I'll go over one year, never get round to it. A mountain stage would be awesome.

Still toying with the idea of hitting Paris for the final day though.
