I'd take him and Klose too. The blokes been in his late thirties for about twenty years now and it hasn't stopped him scoring.

It would not surprise me if we signed some old knacker like Bendtner on a free. Better than nothing I suppose but I would rather see Asoro given the chance.

The re-signing of David Luiz for 34m by Chelsea just about matches the Sissoko fiasco. They sold him for 50m so PSG who lose 16m plus his wages, for what?

Palace are pretty staggering as well, a 50m spend, huge wages which, by comparison to other sized clubs is totally staggering.

oh **** it, I thought Kazan had him training by himself or something - at which point they cant force him to turn up to training that they wont even let him be part of. If they want to pay him 100k a week and keep him fit for us then good for them.

Let me get this straight. Moussa Sussoko and George Wjnaldum sold for around £55m. 2 players who assisted Newcastle in relegation last season. (I rate Wijnaldum btw but Sissoko is no better than Lens and has a similar attitude and similar goal return as Lens last season I think).

    This is pure craziness.

We've signed a couple and let some go but people scoffed at my £20m price tag on Cattermole. Not looking such a crazy valuation in relative terms now though

Add our retention of Kone and business wasn't as bad as some are feeling. It is all up to Moyes now.

I doubt anyone would pay 10m for Cattermole. 20m is pure fantasy.

Newcastle signed very, very good players and couldn't get them playing. Cattermole is limited at his best.

They were **** for them last season and got them relegated. I can't believe that clubs are paying this money for them.

They were just badly managed. Still class players, though.

with no striker and no back up goalkeeper, we are very vulnerable, but, on the face of it we haven't done too bad. I guess because not many of us have heard of N'Dong we will have to wait and see. Just wish M'Villa was in the mix, but hope he is here in Jan

What was the jist of this one.

    Sunderland AFC ‏@SunderlandAFC
Despite the best endeavours of both clubs, a deal has not been completed for the transfer of Mika Domingues from Boavista to Sunderland AFC.
