Stick your rumours on here guys/girls.

Assaidi, looks like he's not signing on a preeminent deal.
Micah Richards, keep's getting linked, he would be a real coup if that comes off.
Youseff El-Arabi, I'd like to see him over Diouf to sign, I can't see Diouf wanting to come or be here.

Early days yet so I have not given any thought to what may happen but I will view this thread with interest over the coming months. At the moment I am concerned about who might leave. I really want Begovic to stay and it will be brilliant if he does.

BBC Football Gossip Column saying that Hull are fighting with us and West Ham to sign Jake Livermore.

    Your opinions?

Not seen much of him myself but someone on here rates him and if he's an improvement on what we have then get him.

Striker (fast and or strong), winger, LB and a reserve CB, need to spend 35 million and shift 10 million out.

I think he's good, someone mentioned in the N'Zonzi thread we should get rid of him and sign Livermore. Hull have had an alright season though, and there's a chance he'd want to stay there.

Leroy Fer & Nathan Redmond from the canaries when they go down. Fer to replace N'Zonzi.

What happened to the supposed Huddlestone deal.

Did our fabled medical team stick their oar in?

He has had a good season with Hull.

For me Livermore is another 'nearly' player.

I'm not sure that the players we really need are within Coates's transfer budget (thanks Tone).

Great idea...start our own academy at a huge cost and grow our own...hang on!!!

Well if Southampton can do it...repeatedly, why can't we??

    Answers on a postcard please

im always a bit wary of players who havent played in the prem, but if we can get someone else too then we could take a punt on him, he does seem a good player though

I'm hoping we have moved on from Championship players now, Hughes has raised the bar with the likes Muniesa and Arnie

I guess but look at Jay Rodriguez. Although he only really took off this year, he went from Championship to BPL and look at the player now, but I guess it is too late.

I just wish we had bought Bony in the summer :(

    Lescott from City
    Sinclair from City/West Brom

Get Jerome back and play him in position regularly.
Less than £10 million - sell Crouch, Whelan and N'zonzi, then get Macnamara (sp) from Wigan.

    Sorted

Maybe get Trippier for Burnley as well (I know what was said earlier about Championship players but this season he was brilliant, better than Wilko for sure)

I like the idea of Sinclair although not sure if Lescott would solve our LB position in th elong run?

I dont think we should have let Jerome go in the first place but I'm not sure bringing him back would be the way forward?

I think Demba Ba would fit in very well and like I said above Johnson from Sunderland would be a player that could fit our budget.

We then have a CM of Ireland, Palcious, Wilson, N'zonzi, Whelan, Walters, Adam (On the basis that I cant see Assaidi staying and Ethrington is leaving), which we need to trim down and add the right players to. For me Whelan and Walters need to go, I would keep Wilson as he can rotate into the CH/LB position and would add Sinclair and Johnson if available.

I dont think we will get any money for Crouch so we will probably ahve to keep him (which I dont think is a bad thing), but we do need to add more quality. A strike force of Demba Ba, Odemwinge, Arnie & Crouch would be pretty handy IMO.

Fair enough Smithers...I had forgotten about Johnson, he had a fantastic month or two and everyone was calling for him to be in the England squad.

I think he said that it was because he played for a relegation threatened club that he would not be considered.
