Looks like DC is looking for young raw talent. I wont be surprised if he is planning on setting up a proper u23 team to enter into the u23 developement league as he and Wael have said he wants youth teams and reserves and even a womans team all at the training ground with the 1st team. So I wont be surprised if these youngsters are in mind for the u23 team for next season unless they are good enough for the 1st team of course.
Strangely enough, Pompey seem also to be scouting in the London area. We have already signed the two lads from non-league Hampton and Richmond - Jamal Lowe and Nicke Kabamba - and apparently have also been looking at a couple of other youngsters. Jamal Lowe has already made his first team debut, and looks a really useful prospect for the future, and Kabamba has scored a few times for the reserves. In this day and age, you have to live within your means, by producing or signing talented young players. Good luck in your search
They said from the outset that producing our own young players was the way forward and with the new training ground setup coming it will give the management a better look at the youngsters coming through and if some of these are worth signing and bringing on for the first team then lets get going and taking this club forward
