The Under-18s are back in action on home soil for the first time in almost a month when they host Brentford at Bishop Burton College on Saturday morning (KO 11am). Billy Russell and Richard O’Donnell’s side have taken 10 points from their first eight games of the U18 Professional Development League 2 season and head into Saturday’s contest looking to build on the four points gained on the road in their last two outings with a 3-2 victory over Bristol City and a 1-1 draw with Charlton Athletic. The young Bees, meanwhile, have endured an up-and-down campaign so far, which sees them occupy sixth place in the U18 Professional Development League 2 South table. Having begun the season with a four-game unbeaten run, including three wins, they have since suffered four straight defeats at the hands of Bolton, Huddersfield, Sheffield Wednesday and Coventry City.
Can't believe I was starting to show interest in them. Clearly not playing for the shirt. Oh, obvz not gonna have a second team that keeps losing too.
