Just back from the game finish 0-0. There wasn't much goal mouth action to shout about, neither side really created any clear cut chances. Kuciak made a good save low down from Gomis in the first half, city dominated the first 20 minutes and had a couple of promising moves which didn't come to anything. Forest came back into it for the remainder of the first half, they had some pressure but no clear cut chances. In the 2nd half, even though it was fairly even and Forest probably had 2 or 3 half chances to score, but Kuciak make a couple of good saves, City didn't really create anything, even though they played some nice passing football. For me Adam Curry who I had forgotten about, he must have been injured as we signed him about a year ago stood out for me as our best player, certainly looks accomplished on the ball and strong in defence. Jonathan Edwards played OK, held the ball up well but didn't really get any goal scoring opportunities.
Obviously not, there was no Olley either tonight unless he is injured, so looks as if he could be joining Bowen and Tymon.
That would seem to be the only reason, though wouldn't have thought there would have been a lot of scouts looking for a 31 year old keeper at U23 game.
