It's rumoured NP will name an unchanged team for Preston. Do we think this is a good idea considering the physicality of Preston against a midfield of Koren, Evans, Cairney and Stewart?

A few bumps and bruises on Sunday morning :cheesy:

Rosenior has to come in for Macca and I thought Koren was due to miss out due to a groin strain?

The main advantage of sticking with the same team is that you start to get a settled side. Each player knows what their role is and how to play with each other and this then brings more consistency to their performances. We're now starting to click into gear just like we did in 2007-08, I have ultimate faith in NP and he definitely knows what he's doing so I won't question his team selection. Although it would be nice to see what Belaid is capable of by starting a match, I don't think Preston is that match though.

I agree with OLM i'd like to see Rosenior back and McShambles back on the bench.

It's a tricky one about Cairney and Harper as i don't rate either of them and don't think either do much. So these loan moves can't come quick enough for me. Pitty Barmby can't play a whole match.

You don't have to worry about Harper, he's still out injured.

Sorry yes, forgot about Macca but I think Rosenior will be straight back in the team if fit as he's been one of our best players this season.

Well i would go with same side just Rosenior in, i am not hundred percent sure of who else we could put in the middle, as there is not much back up for a tough tackling player. I would still like Koren in the middle and Devitt on the wing but doubt thats going to happen so the same team with Rosenior in will do.

Same team I reckon. 1-5 away win, they deserve another start - if Koren's fit.

I think Pearson will put Rosenior back in because of his performances so far, however, Mcshane gets far too much stick for me. His passing may be a bit suspect at times, but I think he makes up for it with his headers and tackles. He was one of the best, if not the best performer at the start of the season before he got injured. If we didn't have Rosenior I'd be quite happy to have Macca at full back from now on.

I hope it isn't the same team. Rosenior has to come in for Macca since we cover for CB. We were far more affective in midfield after Cairney came off so I'd love to see:-

    ..............................Guzzler..............................
    Rosenior..........Chester........Gerrhard.........Dawson
    Devitt........Evans..................Koren..........Stewart
    ..................McLean...........Supa Matt.................

Subs: The Duke, Macca, Nobby, Barmby, Cairney, Simmo (Deserves a start)

Best news all day if Belaid is starting! I forgot all about him in my earlier post. This kid is going to be class, I posted it a while ago, fair play got the piss ripped a bit but I'm sticking with my 5 minute assessment.

I personally think if they start with Cairney, PB will target him with Ash to put the frighteners on him, he still needs to long to decide what to do so I hope your right Cairney for England. It will be interesting if Belaid does start, the lad has shown in the two cameo roles he has had to date that he has some neat touches, but difficult to gauge just how good (or dare one say it how bad) he is at the moment. If AP plans to start with Belaid, he obviously sees something, and that gives me confidence. Rosenior will come back in place of Macca, for me that`s a no brainer, the lad has been outstanding this season and offers us another dimension going forward, Macca on the bench as defensive cover I would imagine.
