If you all want to cheer for someone you could cheer for Billy. I grew up with him, we played on probably a dozen baseball teams together, went to high school together for a couple years and he is a really good guy. I also knew his dad who used to come to our games for a few min in his police cruiser while on duty if he could. His dad also helped coach one team we were on when we were like 14 years old. Here is an article about him. http://www.golfchannel.com/news/will-gray/hurley-produces-heartwarming-win/
Up his own arse going by listening to his pressers recently. Tempted to have a bet on Stenson while he is still 5-1, the man is on a roll
McIlroy is another one of those flash in the pan wonders...Wins a couple of tournaments early doors, gets hyped to hell, then fades from the scene to become an also-ran ..Just like Tony Jacklin..
Guy I know ,well into Golf hates Mcllroy. Once asked him for an Autograph years ago and got told to **** off... Fair to say he has never been a fan since
Neither McIlroy or Jacklin were hardly a flash in the pan. McIlroy PGA Tour 11 Majors 4 European Tour 13 Asian Tour 1 PGA Tour of Australasia 1 Other 1 Jacklin PGA Tour 4 Majors 2 European Tour 8 Champions Tour 2 Other 15
There were rumours after McIlroys sudden non engagement to the tennis payer about a glass table... those in the know will know better than me...nod nod, wink wink...
I wonder if she was sat on it whilst he was having one off the wrist?? Dirty cow..... Lucky ****er !!!!!
Most of Jacklin's win did come over a shot period of time, then his next win was about 20 years after the last one. Might have been B&H at Fulford, but I could be wrong about that.. McIlroy too much too soon. Gone to his head...Mentally burnt out..etc...etc.... PS..Once saw Air Miles Andy at British Open...What a CUNextTuesday he was!!
There are a lot of golfers made giant leaps since Woods was off the scene like Spieth, DJ obviously, Jason Day, and some of the older lads like Stenson and Oosthuizen seem to be playing their best stuff, Mcilroy hit his best form when there was a bit of a vacuum and now the heat is on his putting game doesn't stand up too well under pressure. Even Mickleson played sensational golf the other week at the age of 46 at Troon and he's without a Major since 2013
Billy is -3 so far today so he is at -1. Its early obviously as he is only on the 5th hole but he is now up to T29.
Hope he made the cut, have no idea what's gone on today but am going to enjoy the final round tomorrow on the TV
