No wonder they stroll around thinking they are something if they have a PA. That said, Firmino is a cracking player when used right
Never took pleasure in it and I never said injured. Id prefer playing them suspended or dropped. This whole, much rather win against the beast team thing is nonsense. Does anyone remember if any of our opposition were missing players during all the finals we've won in every competition? No... do you think fans were any less happy by winning those finals because 1 or 2 players may have been missing? No chance. I don't wish an injury on anyone but that doesn't mean id rather play a weaken team than one at full strength.
I didn't. Gulf in 1st choice vs 2nd choice may be true for mid table or bottom half teams. But not for top 4 aspiring one of the biggest clubs in England.
So you're saying not a big gulf in class between Milner, Matip and Mane and their replacements in Moreno, Klavan and Woodburn? how about Lallana and Gini and their replacements Stewart, Ejaria, Lucas or Grujic? Our squad is thin as **** and the difference between our first 11 and the rest of the squad is massive.
I am not saying there is no gulf. no argument yours is thinner than Manu or City. But calling Woodburn #2 for Mane is insane.
If you had to change any one of those 3 out you shouldn't really struggle too much, that said Origi and Sturridge are obviously really pissed off with being expected to act like whippets coursing hares and have downed tools so maybe you have a point. EDIT......if you had to change all 3 at once there would obviously be a change in quality.
Only because the current #frauds have drawn in the purse strings to pay for the meccano stand complete with obstructed view seats They're still the 4th highest spenders in the last 5 years though....
5th in the wage table. Probably 5th strongest squad in the PL. You'd almost think there was a correlation between the two.
Rafa invented "net spend" for them all to cream about, no other PL board mentions it. Most other teams have a squad though
We could spend £120m this summer and end up with a net spend less than Bournemouth, if things go pear on the retention front, it means little at that level
