    Strange , i thought he'd backed out of that. Instead at the end of the game yesterday he offered to refund everyone who stayed to the end yesterday their ticket money but there was no one there to take him up on his offer.

    It is hilarious. I don't know what to make of it. On one hand their fans seem to give up too easily and seem a bit fairweather. On the other they've had years and years of this ****. Short doesn't give a flying **** or at best is clueless. You can see why some of them have broken. However I also look at ourselves. We've been through two relegations in the last 8 years and been **** since 2006 bar one season. We still turn out in our droves and support the side regardless of division. We've had our moments of leaving early of course, but its literally every home game for them when they are behind. I also distinctly remember being told our support would drop 10k-15k, we have **** support etc etc. So all in all **** them and lets all laugh at Sunderland <laugh> (NOTE: though I'd still be very happy if they stay to give me my money by staying and also help to relegate Palace, Leicester and Boro to collect the big bucks #greedy)
