Thanks Jake. I enjoyed your tenacity, commitment, tackling and occasional great pass and goals. Good luck and best wishes. Bet you're glad to be out of a basket case of a club where 'short term' thinking is the order of the day.
Sam Clucas @samclucas All the best @29_JL going to be a big miss around the place! DM @DavidMeyler7 All the best @29_JL You will be missed both on and off the pitch. Ahmed Elmohamady @Elmo_27 All the best bro @29_JL Moses Odubajo @Moses_ Will be missed bro ! Taught me a lot Curtis Davies #6 @TheCurtisDavies A real shame to see @29_JL go. Not from a footballing perspective but also as a close friend to me and a lot of the lads.
My Villa fan mate told me today that James Chester is already a forgone conclusion for their player of the season. I wish we still had him.
Nah - the experts have spoken, he'll be no great loss, he wasn't all that good, we'll find someone miles better for half the money who'll slot straight into our relegation battle.
I'm hoping that Curtis has missed the word 'just' out from near the beginning of that sentence! Gutted to see Jake leave. I hope that this ridiculous decision doesn't come back to bite us. It would be nice at some point however if Jake was to express his gratitude to the club and Steve Bruce for how they stood by him during his depression. I'm sure that he's classy enough to do so at some point.
