Latest supercomputer prediction for end of year puts Watford 15th - with Leicester and Swansea overtaking us.
Me too. I'm not really sure we will stay above Bournemouth and Palace either. Can see us scraping through.
That would be dreamland considering how we have been playing. If the rumours are true that WM is gone at the end of season, why don´t the owners wield the axe now to try to inject some form into the players...
http://www.hertfordshiremercury.co....rlands-squad/story-30189967-detail/story.html Berghuis called up by the Netherlands - not that we can claim any credit for his elevation...
Never thought I would live to see this - marvellous in a way, but does rather show up the decline in Dutch football. For us to have a player out on loan to a club 4 points clear of Ajax at the top of the league shows where we have arrived.

I thought he took his goal with a great deal of aplomb Saturday, but he doesn't look much like an international to me.
He has had 3 mini pre seasons according to a quote I read from him somewhere, the injuries can´t help for consistency, that is for sure. If I were Italy boss, I´d have him as lone striker in all future games....
You have to think that we are "probably" safe - needing only about another 6 points from 11 games. So removing WM now is not going to relegate us. A caretaker could show what can be done with the players we have. Palace Leicester and Swansea have a bounce factor - which we could do with.
Have we ever performed consistently well against the lower teams and ever won all the games that we should have won. Maybe we will be thinkinkg we are safe and be a bit less motivated than the lower placed teams that are fighting for something. I like Geoff Boycott's thoughts, " what if one or two teams below us suddenly won two games on the trot" and we lost a couple of games that " we should have won"? How confident would we feel then?
6 points from 11 games ought to be ok even if I was coach. It's a lot worse than even bottom club Sunderland have got. I will not be confident though till we get to 40 points.
I did warn everyone i will be seeing 3 games then go home the day before the WBA game so put a large bet losing to Place and Sunderland by the odd goal and then we hammer WBA because im not there (unless the the airline buys back my ticket) which can happen and if so il try and join 1881 that evening
Well i hope to get an early train to kings X then try and meet up (im told they go to London Bridge) then on to CP so if i drink too many beers there i might not leave there (for 3 weeks) LOL
Watford defender Craig Cathcart is named in a 24-man Northern Ireland squad after missing the first four games of the campaign with a groin injury.
