    Barclays Premier League
    Date - Saturday, 15th April 2017
    Kick off - 15:00
    Venue - Vicarage Road

After their 'flat' performance away at West Ham, the Swans players need to dig deep and start showing that they are prepared to give everything and play for the shirt in the desperate quest to avoid relegation.

The honeymoon period is well and truly over for Paul Clement - he needs to start demonstrating that he has both the tactical nous and the ability to motivate his players. Both have been sadly lacking in recent performances.

Perhaps now is the time to give Borja Baston his head - we need to try something difficult. Desperate situations require desperate measures. However, I suspect that it will be much the same again in terms of tactics & personnel.

The Swans have played Watford on 45 occasions, winning 21, drawing 10 & losing 14.

In the corresponding match last season, Watford won 1-0 and recorded their first success since returning to the PL.

Odion Ighalo's second-half strike earned the 10-man Hornets the victory - the Nigeria forward pounced on a headed knockdown from Troy Deeney to fire in from eight yards.

Watford were reduced to 10 men when Valon Behrami was sent off after appearing to stamp on Andre Ayew.

Turning to Saturday, victory for Watford will take them to the "magic" 40pts & pretty much guarantee them another season in the PL. I expect Watford to run out comfortable 2-0 winners......... <sorry>

Doing the same thing over and over when it doesn't work, is a sign of madness.

I'm hopeful as always but I think the players believe they are already down. Maybe they're right. 2-0 :(

If Swansea City have a defining quality, it is probably niceness. Just look at their team. Jack Cork. Tom Carroll. Kyle Naughton. Alfie Mawson. All of them: just really lovely lads. Leroy Fer once bought a horse for his girlfriend. Who doesn’t love horses? This is Swansea in a nutshell: nice lads, nice club, nice to watch. And unfortunately, even nicer to play against - walesonline............<laugh>

In a nutshell a bunch of big girls blouses!!.......:emoticon-0109-kiss:

Watford have great movement and pace, we are stagnant, and no pace at all, there will be only one outcome, plus our players have no fight in them, talk about throwing in the towel, plus we don't usually perform well the last 10 games of the season, our Ponces will be on a beach somewhere, ...............<ok>

one or two nil, standard result lately. The last four games have been truly awful and so uninspiring. We made James Collins look great on Saturday!!!....says it all really. I'm not sure we'll win again this season.
Could well be visiting Fleetwood next season!

With Cork probably not playing , I think it may be time to bring in our secret weapon that has got us out of more than one pickle in the past ... Leon Britton .

If we manage to score first we might cling on for a point, but I think Watford will win - another 1-0.

    Hull away at Stoke.
