Another weekend and no footy to get really stressed about. However we can still get slightly stressed over the following fixtures: Palace v WBA Everton v Burnley Leicester v Swansea No game for Hull or Sunderland...... So lets give Palace, Everton and Swansalona our support......
To be fair we can't really complain about other teams' results recently, they've kept us in the hunt. Shame we couldn't capitalise a bit better, but not through want of trying.
Sick of all this hate QPR stuff at the PL. Now they are giving our rivals the chance to pick up ponts and not even letting us play. We could have played Sunderland again.
Unfortunately, I can see Leicester winning and Burnley getting some sort of result. Swansea and Everton have nothing to play for and are liable to slip up. More unfortunately, this would put us bottom. The only way is up after this weekend. Come on the Taffies and Toffees!!!!!!!!!!
I just wish that we also had a match, to win and lay down a marker - playing catch up will be harder when the other teams already have the points on the board.
With Neil Taylor banned and Kyle Naughton injured, we've only got one full back - Angel Rangel It will be interesting to see what Monk does - possibly, for the first time this season play 3-5-2? That said, we've matched our points record in the PL of 47 - and Monk wants to break the record tomorrow. So we do have something to play for! Hopefully, we will get at least a point!
Leicester 1-0 up against Swansea - are they going to secure a 3rd win in row today? Not good for us so far.
At least Everton 1-0 now up against Burnley (should be 2-0 if Barkley hadn't screwed up the penalty). Burnley almost get back in it the game with on the counter. Wish we were playing today to get some much needed points on the board.
Ashley Barnes sent off for a 2nd yellow just before HT. Tough task for Burnley now to get anything out of this game.
