if you want to make a signature or have an avatar then you need to go to the top right corner of the page into control panel and then on the left side under settings you can do what you wish. and if you want to add links to other sites or videos or pics within your 1st 10 comments it needs to be checked 1st for spamming reasons. after 10 comments you free to do as you wish. so any of your 1st 10 comments that has a link in it wont show until a mod clears it so bear with us as we aint always logged on here

how many have we got on here now then

45 of these joined this year 2014
37 of these joined since the OS forum closed

however only 99 members have actually posted meaning the other 69 members joined but then never posted. some of these members do actually log on and read along but just dont post.

and sorry to be negative but out of the 99 members that have posted which includes a fair few new member that we have had join recently, only 27 members have posted 50 comments or more. only 20 who have posted more than 100 comments. only 7 members have posted more than 1000 comments.

thats the issue here. we have a lot of people who make the step to join us but then just dont stick around long enough or only appear now and then for whatever reason. so we dont have that many regular posters. hopefully the new members that have joined to make our board active where we all can get a lot of it.

 

Shame this forum is always more interesting then the others all that is on the Independent Forum at the moment is a lot of moaning about the board and DC anyway hopefully they will start posting soon the more fans on here the better discussions we can have.

 

New to the forum! Lets hope we get some decent rumours on signings ASAP!

For those newbies joining, welcome to the house of fun. The conversation and interaction on here is second to none and by far better than the OSF used to be.

Gasheadseamge79 and pirate49 are top Mods and actually let us talk. Though senior moments do occur on occasions this site is for Gasheads by Gasheads.....get involved if you dare.

 

And don't forget gas he's also a top mod

top comment. im glad you are liking the site. what i like about this place is that when its quiet in our board, we can visit another board and catch up on things there or even join in which helps their board flow. on the OSF when its quiet its quiet and nothing else to do.

the mods on here - p49, seamge & gas - are gasheads like the rest of our members. they use the site for enjoyment like everyone who uses this site. they are ordinary fans 1st and then a mod 2nd. they have mod powers only to make sure the gas board and the gas members are protected from visiting fans who come and wum and ruin the flow of threads. also to make sure that racist, abusive/threatening behaviour doent happen. other than that there should be any reason to moderate as the owner of this site believes in self moderation. also the mods dont get paid for be a mod. they actually use their own time to take do the duty of a mod. being a mod previously myself, its not an easy job at times.

so this is a great shout out gassyade to the mods. nice one

 

mods, i have changed some wordings on the 1st comment of this thread. it still had me as mod with p49 so i have amended it adding details of seamge and gas to it.

of course if you prefer to use your own words as you guys are the mods then go ahead
