Match Day Thread We're Off To Villa Park FA Cup Replay Villains v Chairboys 2016

The Chairboys are off to Villa Park again a little under 15 years since our last visit, this time they will be about 4,500 loyal Chairboys going as against the 20,000 who attended for the FA Cup semi final who were they! Ok my wife won't be going this time as since I joined the left side behind the goal she hasn't been to a game, she doesn't do standing up in the cold.
There will be changes to the line up from the game at Adams Park as Mat Ingram will be between the sticks and Captain Paul Hayes should start up front to make things tick so the choice for Gaz is AAH or Thompson to join him but unless there were any knocks on Saturday no other changes are likely.
We go into this game on the back of a long fruitless trip to the north east and a game which we dominated for an hour but returned empty handed, the lads will have to have their shooting boots on at Villa Park because chances will be few and we are unlikely to have a lino who keeps his flag down if our forward is 3 yards off side like Vardy was against Villa on Saturday. I will be singing myself hoarse for at least 90 mins on Tuesday evening keeping the faith and hoping we can get our reward a 4th round tie against Man City at Adams Park COYB

 

We were 9/1 for tonight's match but someone has had a dabble as we are now 17/2. I think the bookies have heard about our lack of goal scorers. First goalscorer odds show that 9 (nine) Villa players are more likely than any Wycombe player to score first. They even think there is more chance of no goalscorer than Wycombe scoring first. If that isn't confidence boosting I don't know what is

 

Tonight we have to take our chances to stand any chance. Keeping villa quiet early on will also be crucial, i think its fair to say our fans will probably be more up for this too. I suspect the only change from the first leg will be hayes starting ahead of holloway, although i wouldnt be shocked to see bean bought back in either

Either way i shall be watching via some stream site (hopefully) and if we can get to the fourth round it would be a huge achievement!
