    leaving early
    A Newcastle fan says he is 'furious' after leaving early and missing the team's late comeback against Norwich City.

    Rafael Benitez' side were a goal down to the Canaries as they entered stoppage time, but goals from Yoan Gouffran and Dwight Gayle meant they secured a dramatic 4-3 victory.

    And Newcastle fan Ryan, who had traveled 6 hours from Swindon with his two friends to watch the match, couldn't believe what he had missed after leaving early.

    "We were well gone. It was a long drive back", he told 5 live Sport's Mark Chapman and Pat Nevin.

    "I can't describe how we're feeling right now. You can't write it, it's just Newcastle all over. I'm furious what they're doing to me."

    Serves him right for leaving early, just to get home a few minutes earlier.

    If i had travelled all that way to watch a match im as sure as hell i would have stayed right till the end, what would 10 or 15 minutes make over a journey down to Swindon? class 1 dick.

    I don't leave early - in fact I am usually one of the last to leave so I believe I have the necessary qualifications, as such I am in a position to talk and I think he is a dickhead <laugh>

    I work every Saturday night - I never leave early! to a game on a knife edge!

    Even to a point of taking my son and nephew up to where my Dad sits and leaving them up there for the match so I can run back to the car at full time if I'm gigging miles away!!!

    Where the hell did the 9 minutes of extra time come from ?. Anyhow I left early at all 3 of our league games this season hehe.
