crazy lot the gas,Bristol Rugby have had fans of both city and rovers since day 1,idiots some of them,to be fair there are gas fans giving other gas fans verbal over there.

The system Bristol played first half was crazy, should have kicked every penalty they got and they would have been promoted.

Hmmmm, I've no love for rugby but isn't this Bristol Rugby as opposed to Bristol City rugby and therefore its for the City of Bristol and nothing to do with Bristol City FC aside from the fact the egg chasers share our ground?

    Bunch of dumbarses

At least there are a few Gasheads with a brain cell that realize that promotion for the rugby club would be good for the city and not just for the majority shareholder. Most of the posts are clearly from half wits who really should be trying to educate themselves.

Wonder if they are bitter just because they lost the rent? They complained it ruined the playing surface and it most probably did. So they wanted them out, now they have that wish it's Lansdown's a **** etc.
Who else was going to take them on and offer them alternative ground, because you can bet the council was never going to allow them to move anywhere else.
I'm not really a Bristol supporter, club rugby I've followed Gloucester, growing up in Gloucester at its cracking atmosphere in the shed at Kingsholm but last night you could of sworn I've followed Bristol all my life the way I was cheering and then absolutely gutted at the end.
This stupid system does need looking at though over wise it would be better to stay forth conserve your energy and then winner takes it all. I understand the premiership they lose players for over 6 weeks a year to internationals so a successful team with top players do suffer.
The whole system needs re vamping, give them international breaks let the best teams be decided over a season.

Reading that thread is helpful in reminding some of our own more 'friendly' to the blue side fans over here just what an utter bunch of vile, jealous morons they really are!

I haven't read the thread but I can imagine what they're saying..

They should be kissing Bristol Rugbys feet, if it wasn't for them they would still be ground sharing with Bath ****ing City. I won't even mention stealing their ground, oh, whoops.

Obviously it's a bit daft equating all Gasheads with the opinions of a handful of people on a forum. I really wanted Bris back where they belong regardless of the Lansdown affiliation. It would have been fantastic if the city could have boasted an unprecedented triple promotion! I'm sure they'll get back up soon as it's been over 6 years they've been outside the top flight, after all, your experience shows that however much money Lansdown throws at a club, it certainly doesn't buy automatic success! <laugh>

To be fair Banksy this is the opinion of a small minority and not fair to tar everyone with the same brush (I'm one of those who have sensible discussions with the guys on the Rovers board) - I certainly would not want to be associated with every action our fans take (for example I spoke out about the singing of the "C" word at Leroy Lita - when everyone heard Swindon singing that to Aden it makes you realise how pathetic that is)

'Some' of our 'so called' fans seem to worry more about Rovers than they do City.. seems they can do no wrong -- always found that a bit strange me.

I know where my flags planted!

This sounds a little harsh, one assumes you have had a bad experience
