    So many of life's milestones....

First kiss, first love, first shag, passing my driving test, first car, leaving school, first job, leaving home, great music, getting the Chris Waddle perm, wearing miami vice clothes to go clubbing, great music, no responsibilities and so much fun.

    **** what happened to life!!!

Early 80's started my own business - still going
Mid 80's DJ - lasted into late 90's -- too old now, and the music is plastic
Late 80's - getting married - still going strong

Tight jeans that for some reason came half way up your belly and cheap suits for going out. Just as well they were cheap as I lost count of how many jackets got left in clubs or some stranger's house that I never saw again <doh>

For me it was the cartoons (they don't make them like they used to).

You couldn't beat the ZX81 with it's amazing 1K of memory......

until you moved onto the ZX Spectrum that gave you an amazing 48K (once you plugged in the ram pack). Oh, and the joysticks that snapped the first time you tried to win the 100 metres in Daley Thompson's Decathlon!!!

I remember playing that on the C64. Knacked many a joystick. Likewise Hyper Sports!

You can still play some of the old ZX81 games online. The younger ones on here will never appreciate how mind-blowing it was to be able to play 'hi-tech' games like these on your own TV.

A lot of the games on the 8 bit systems were tough because you had to use your brains. Head Over Heels, Dizzy etc
