Aye. They were proper games. Needed hand/ eye co-ordination and brains. Not like the senseless crap around today [although GTA V on the Playstation is amazing.]

I still have my Nintendo 8 Bit (along with all my other old consoles and handhelds much to the despair of the missus). The pads still have the sad depressed buttons from hammering track and field <laugh>

Remember feeling like a computer expert when I doubled my Amiga from a half MB memory to a full 1 MB memory.

Also remember the first time ever using the Amiga and thinking I had broken it and/or the TY when I turned it off but the picture was still on the TV screen.

    KIds today...

:emoticon-0102-bigsm I read the title of this thread, and the first thing that came to mind was leg warmers :emoticon-0102-bigsm OMG the fashion memories, I doubt any of you had any hand knitted picture jumpers :emoticon-0102-bigsm my favourite was one of a horse's head that had a 3-D mane :emoticon-0111-blush honestly there are some cringeworthy fashion moments in my 80s history but honestly I would not have wanted to grow up in any other decade :emoticon-0100-smile

Sticking with the computer games thing, what about Horace Goes Skiing :emoticon-0102-bigsm
