Roy Hodgson - England manager (well yes he's English, but has he managed a big team successfully?). and to make matters worse he goes and and appoints another scouser to lead England he might have been better annoucing that Ca$hl£y would captain England. For al those that seem to think that wayne looney is a world beater consider his record in international tournaments since he burst on the scene playing for his boyhood club. World cup 2006 sent off for stamping on a portugese player, England played like a Sunday pub side in South Africa (lucky to get out of group) did not like the fans booing (They had actually paid hard earned money to Watch their country. Next during the final qualifying game for Euro 2012 his physical assualt on an opponent was not dealt with correctly and although the 3 match ban was reduced to 2, once again England failed and no doubt will again. It is time that England supporters, the Media and the FA stopped living in the past (1966). The obession with failures on the International stage is not working learn from the lessons of the (I hate to say the Germans, the have rebuilt their team) and they will win a major tournament before England.

We have 4 world class players in their position - Hart, Cole, Gerrard and Rooney - that's why we will never get beyond QF's

Sorry, Gerrard shouldn't even make the Liverpool team and Hart is a good young goalkeeper, no more. Cole and Rooney - that's it.

Hart had a shocker against Sweden last night, he's lucky there's no one even remotely close to challenging him for his position.

At least Ashley Cole has Baines keeping him on his toes... Rooney is probably closer to Hart's situation than Cole's, there are decent backup strikers but they are more fighting for a place alongside him than potentially replacing him.
