I know it's too early to judge without know what kind of team we'll be left with but what does your heart say?
We can't say anything until the transfer window closes. Who knows who we, or the other clubs, will have in their squads by August?
The way things are going, I would take mid table ( championship) for peace and stability at the club( one can only hope).
The only future we have is 'if' the Allam's manage to unload the Club and the new owners (with a positive vision for the Clubs future) bring in a new Manager who 'maybe' can attract the 'quality' players we need to either consolidate a position in the PL or take us back 'if' we should remain in the Championship. We would also need a full time Public Relations Officer to lift the status of the Club to a level that would attract aforesaid 'quality' players - and to reinstate our original badge/logo (or a better one) - as well as reinstating child and/or Pensioner Concessions and bring some passion back to the Club.
Too true 'Roo. As you say, the catalyst has to be new owners, otherwise the rest, I fear, would be impossible.
I will have got to see nearly all away matches in the championship..home attendances will have dropped to 12,000 We finish 6th under out new owner Ehab and we scrap no concessions at the end of the season. We play more attacking football under our new manager... I can but hope
Big hope 'Filey' but we haven't much else left. To play attacking football we will need attacking footballers and they won't come here for whatever reason. Hernandez will surely be gone during the mid-year transfer activity. Akpom will have gone (no good anyway) which leaves Diomande to lead our strike force (are you kidding). With no attacking midfielders to orchestrate development in the 'final third' then look forward to the 'Flamingo Land' logo becoming a Crab next season.
