Agreed. I went on there once. Offered an opinion and was immediately set upon by Astro and his hounds!...
But you remember footbal when it was a contact sport Tobes, like myself. It's more like basketball ball now. No contact allowed in a lot of people's minds.
I actually don't mind donga id even go as far to say I quite like him. He has a humour to his posts and is critical of his side. Astro is just a sheer embarrassment to their board as everything he posts is a made up stat, pop at the ref, pop at the BBC, someone bribing someone. Never ever has anything positive to say about another club ever. I actually think I may hate him. Which is frankly pathetic to hate someone who I suspect may be special needs from their posts on a bloody football forum.
Watching spurs for me is very stressful and posting helps me get through a match. If you don't support Spurs you wouldn't understand. 25 years and 2 league cups is probably the reason why!
Much as I agree with what you've said about Astro (I'd even go as far as to say that when you strip away his conspiracy crap, there's actually NO football talk at all) but Donga is his absolute disciple I'm afraid. Laps up his every post and shares his mindset. The one positive about Astro is that he NEVER hurls abuse at anyone. No name calling or venting bile. In that respect he probably shades Donga tbf.
The Liverpool board is a good crack, most of them are a good laugh. But yeah Astro is a ****ing melt. Total special needs.
Donga was the epitome of tedious during and after the Suarez saga. ****ing hell, it was painful as ****. He was and, to my knowledge still is, a knobhead. I never visit the Liverpool board now, used to and I got along fine with a lot of them, more so than with certain United 'fans', it's the few who spoil it! Astro prick and BBF or whatever he called himself being the obvious ones.
As funny as the match threads are on the dipper board, nothing comes close to the palpable hatred on their rival watch thread when United win a game. It seems to genuinely sour the mood of some of them
I don't often go on during the game so you might be right, I really don't know seems OK on there to me.
We have Tobes, Bod, Diego and Liebher who are regular on there and don't have any problems. How many boards have regular fans from other teams? There are those who can test but that's on all boards. I think you should all pop over and feel the love.
It goes ferrel when you're doing well tbh. No room for any rational thought from the 'outsiders'. I'll wait until you **** up for some normality to return before I go on there Always worth going on the TV/movie thread though.
Annoyingly agree with this. Our match threads are ridiculous at times. Always defensive errors or the officials to blame and never credit to the opposition. Like Gonzo, I rarely go on during games. I did during the Plymouth game though, it (the game) was as boring as a nuns ****!
And I resent that too... Don't mind Trebs: just like that loon Sisu, whom we keep locked up in the attic, he can't stand being corrected by facts, and he can't handle the fact that I know a lot of them. But, as anyone on our board (and a few visitors like Tobes) will tell you, I'm equally liable to say when we've had outrageous decisions go our way. But we don't need peripatetic arseholes likes Trebs to tell us when we've had the rub of the green - that's what BBC Salford is there for. And the MUFA.
Hahahaha!!! You are, to the best of my knowledge, the only mod who managed to pull one of my posts as you didn't like it, but couldn't resist answering it later when you'd thought of something, and ended up reposting it in your reply. ****ing doughnut!
Oh eh, Stanley, get a ****ing grip. It bastard well was a nailed on pen, if you're talking about the one in the first half. Shades of Fistian there: you need to lift the rim of your flat cap a bit.
