Very harsh, you must be basing that on his 1st million pound price tag as a player as opposed to his commentating abilities where his wit, passion and knowledge of the game absolutely blow everyone else away.

Not sure about the wit and passion, but Laces is being very tough on the man who us had the longest cold in the history of football.

It's the "Niall Quinn" way of not seeing things that are quite clearly in front of his eyes that does my head in. Even on replays.

Harry Redknapp is nailed on in first place
Carlton Palmer - how the hell did he ever win an England cap?
Kevin Kilbane - why did so many clubs invest in a player who I can never remember contributing anything meaningful

(Can I sneak in Garth Crooks too, who actually is the epitome of a poor pundit, ohh and John Motson who has never been a decent commentator and yet is so revered by the BBC, give us a break beeb and put him out to grass with his wretchedly obnoxious sheepskin where at least he will be at home!)

Good shout, can't abide Garth Crooks, he always seems such an arrogant, condescending sort of a bloke?

I think Garth Crooks is a very articulate person but I never agree with what he is saying!

Terry Vegetables, he taught 'array everything he knows and anyone could have got to the semis in 96 with that team... Plus he left le tissier out...

Emile heskey, if it wasn't for that donkey, beatts would have a hat full of England caps a hand full of England goals...

And Gascogne, really the guy plays in a two team league, yes he scored lots of goals but so could I have. Without this muppet, le tiss would have the international record he deserved... He might have scored a couple of good goals... But where is he in the list of premiership best goals ever (not second that's for sure!)

    My three are:
    Harry Redknapp (no explanation needed)
Skate Support (just blind stupidity which got them where they are and they don't understand football at all)
Danny Murphy (who on earth thought could be a pundit?)

What planet are you on....he managed to get a perfectly decent team relegated and then admitted he'd regretted joining Southampton as soon as he arrived.

I don't know how personalities have been "rated?"

I mean, I think Robbie Savage is not funny, clueless, annoying, and dresses like a joker. But as far as I can tell, most people agree with that, so he's not really overrated.

There was a time where maybe I might have said either of the Redknapps were over-rated, but by now I think everyone has seen through them and opinions are (rightly) very low.

Gary Lineker, maybe? Do people still really like him because of what he did for England as a player? That means nothing to me, so I just see him as a truly awful pundit. Not just that his opinions are often ill-formed but he seems to have some odd biases where he'll just pick fights with a club/person/player for no apparent reason.

If you don't rate Gary Lineker you probably won't rate Charlie Austin. They are very similar players. Gary is annoying - yes - but he had that knack like Charlie of knowing where to position himself in the penalty area to snatch a sneaky goal.
