Anybody who'll give youth a chance for me. It's time your Fletcher's, DG, Rodwells, Brown's ect were told they won't be considered and find a new club and start changing the way the club is run. Not a Manager who'll stick with the same old players, trying to solve an impossible puzzle before scratching his head and spitting out the same old lines the last 4 have said.
100% de Boer for me. Ajax bred so belief in youth, used to adapting system to a constantly changing squad, natural born winner with massive pedigree and reach to the current generation of players who watched him play in CL. Only candidate if I was Ellis.
The only one available that I would want is Sam. None of the others names give me much hope. Two who are not available but are sometimes mentioned are Pulis and Moyes. Any one of those two would be my choice. Other than the above three I can't think of anyone who would be good for us. Hopefully the incoming manager will get real assurances of substantial funds for January although I thought Dick had been led to believe he would be getting a goodly sum for quality improvements instead of a half way sum to get us a few slight improvements.
Absolutely mate. I always felt Laudrup had landed at a club in great shape after Martinez and Costa, backed up by the fact they have improved further after he's gone. I worry that he went after money when he went too. He did a fantastic job at Getafe mind, has to be said, so he does have some ability. de Boer for me, and I think we can get him too.
I agree mate, he gets all this ****ing credit for what? Getting Bolton top 10 for a few years? He's never achieved anything as a manager. Nothing at all. He's kept teams up but he's always been backed and had decent players. I'd be ****ing fuming, I WILL be ****ing fuming cos that's who we are getting.
I may be utterly insane after years of football related-torture, but... Who you should get is the same sort of manager we should get... Marshmallow face himself, Steve Bruce.
Dreading it mate. He's like Saggy Chops, in the agents pockets. Poor manager who reeks of crookedness.
Couldnt give a **** who we get! Maybe we should get somebody who no ****er wants and suprises us by doing ok, like what Ranieri has done at Leicester. I'd have been gutted if we had been linked with him, but he seems to be doing the bizzo. Just feel it doesnt matter who we get, unless we get relegated, things will never change. ps. de boer will not come anyway near us. fat sam, if we are lucky!
Do you know what, I don't really care who we get. I think we have a decent squad in the making and any decent manager should be able to get us to safety and build on what we have. de Boer would be fantastic but I can't see it happening. Big Sam would be fine in my book and would keep us up. I am not as keen on Dyche but he did do well with very average players in the past. I don't like Pearson much but you look at how good Leicester are this season and a lot of that is down to him.
I'm not big sams biggest fan but he has done something that no recent sunderland manager has ever done (whether it be at Sunderland or any other club) kept an unfancied team comfortably in the Premier League. If we got Sam at least he will have experience of the job at hand!
The conspiracy thickens, or rather the merseyside derby is BORIING!! Congers resigns cos big sam wont work with dof Nolan gets out of contract both unveiled monday! Stroll on 3 weeks Nolan scores winner in derby ! Big Sam and Nolan ****erthon begins ... shudder lmao
