    Playing football or training to play football is all these people do. Not as if they have to do a days work digging a hole in the road and then play. Burnt out for christ sake......a hard days work would kill them.

    Owen wasn't burnt out: he had recurring injuries which robbed him of his blistering pace - hamstrings wasn't it? Too may games too soon may have been an issue but physical injuries were the problem.

    Exactly my point......maybe that's why he first got the problem......to much football, not enough recovery time....overworked.....quite possible.....but of course we will never know now will we ?
