I favour Raneiri... a safe pair of hands who can make times work beyond the individual talents..

Personally, I reckon that the owners wouldn´t have sacked Mazzarri if they didn´t have someone else lined up. So there must already be someone waiting in the wings, maybe they will be at the ground on Sunday.

I don´t want Ranieri to come in to be honest. His backroom staff were key to his success and he won´t be coming with them if Shakespeare et al. stay at Leicester. I don´t begrudge Ranieri´s success at Leicester but I don´t see him as a decent manager, actually, I think he is an intelligent clown.

I think it´ll be Slutsky, but I don´t now much about him or how the press might react to his name. If it isn´t him, then it´ll be someone we didn´t expect as that is par for the course.

The bookies are generally pretty spot on with these things, and they have it as Slutsky (6/4), Ranieri (2/1) and Silva (4/1)

Slutsky is a pretty big gamble but seems to be more of a Pozzo choice, so can see him coming in.

Ranieri did very well but is worrying how he lost that dressing room - and we have a few divas of our own in that dressing room.

My choice would be Silva - but imagine there will be a few other teams with their eye on him. Can see Southampton looking at him if Puel goes, but he would be my choice... and would like him to bring Maguire with him!

Just hope they make a decision reasonably quickly so they can assess the squad! What are the chances Slutsky or Ranieri will be in the stands on Sunday...

From my recollection they didn't tip any of the appointments the Pozzos have made, apart from GFZ.

How many coaches will the new manager want?

Maybe will have a British coach like Flores did.

Rumour is the next Coach is already ready to take over...so i doubt it's anyone we know or want! lol.. Personally i hope it isn't Ranieri, Silva would be good though he didn't manage to keep Hull up so there's niggling doubts there but i'm guessing it's the bloke from Russia coz none of us know anything about him!

Donald Trump already knows if it is the bloke from Russia. If the bookies receive a large bet from the US copy it.

Think Ranieri will keep you up, he makes positive tactical changes and brings a calming personality to the players.

The problem though, since hes managed Chelsea, he's been a manager with second season syndrome, but that probably won't worry you guys as your managers don't seem to last that long anyway <laugh>

    Mazzarri Was actually favourite this time last year;

    http://www.skysports.com/football/n...lace-quique-sanchez-flores-as-watford-manager

And the year before, Flores was favourite, over Di Matteo

    http://news.coral.co.uk/football/le...ut-for-sunderland-and-hammers-jobs_78954.html

Wobby seems to be suggest Marco Silva is Gino's favourite to take over - but think he may have to be quick before any end of season merry-go-round, as think he could be in demand!

i'm hearing it's already sorted...or at least, that they are very much into the process...wouldn't be surprised if we find out next week! (which counts out Marco Silva because he's under contract until the end of June)

Or perhaps he will be announced as the New Head Coach and will not start until 1st of June meaning Hull will pay for him whilst he is on holiday :emoticon-0105-wink:

If it is Silva, I do hope that they hurry as can see a few other teams looking at him... rumours Saints and Porto are both interested, but could always just be agent talk, to get Watford moving on it!

No reason why we can't speak to him about his next role... WM is already putting himself out there and no doubt already taking Spanish lessons <whistle>
