That is something we can agree on. However when your centre half options are Collocini, Williamson, Steven Taylor and Paul Dummett - you're asking to be involved in a relegation battle. Add in having a squad full of split pea hearts...

There is no cohesive squad building within the club. The manager has little input because it is about buying players cheaply who might turn into a good sale. A very poor basis for transfers - which should be about winning football matches. This is no surprise when your owners reason for owning the club is to advertise his low end sports store.

Those guys have kept out some decent teams even this season, it's just you have no competition for places.

I always notice that your back line is never in a line and always seems to be left to do the job alone, by your midfielders.

Most other teams seem able to shut teams out when they need to grind out a point, but you lot tend to open up far too often at the back, I'd attribute that to very bad management.

Your owner is a different story, but I have a feeling if you survive tomorrow he's going to have learnt a very valuable lesson.

Succinct yet accurate, this. The organisation is abysmal, it harks back to the days of Souness who believed the eleven players picked should simply "know what to do". There's a lot of similarity between Carver and Souness.

In principal, I can understand why anyone would believe our squad was half-decent. Krul's a World Cup goalkeeper, Janmaat is class, Colo on his day can really turn it on, Dummett is committed, Colback's on the edge of the England set up, Sissoko can be unplayable, Perez has talent, as does Cabella, and we're bringing into that SDJ, Cisse, Aarons. It's not really close to the teams around us. Maybe I'm over-egging the players, but I'm trying not to. Nobody is pretending Gouff, Jonas, Raylor, Anita, etc., are up to it. But I do think Pardew was pretty much on or slightly below par with his squad. What Carver has done is nothing short of extraordinary.

Mate it's simple, you're showing all the hallmarks of a side who have major issues with the manager. It looks like Sunderland under Di Canio.

One thing I never understood was your player's support for Pardew but make no mistake it was there in abundance. Not for this fella though, he's on his own, he's isolated himself, you'd have probably done better without a manager at all.

I'm intrigued to see how he will manage to take the credit tomorrow if you lose and United stuff Hull for you.

Maybe Rangers will get in the SPL and you lot will be cast aside by your great owner.

I'd probably chuck my SC if Carver ever turned up at Old Trafford to be honest. I can't begin to understand your pain <laugh>

Big Sam just been on Radio Humberside saying he wants to beat you tomorrow.
Also wished his best mate Steve Bruce all the best.
Man Utd are giving debuts to four teenagers and that Dutch bloke managing them is booked on the 5 o'clock ferry out of Hull.
Man U are stopping in the Holiday Inn, with dancing girls and an all-night bar.
Rooney just spotted outside McDonalds spewing his ring up.
