    He had one really good season 12/13, the other two with Villa were the same as his one with us.

    He had injury troubles but saved Villa from the drop at least three times. Not everything is about stats mate

    Said this couple days ago. It's not that Klopp hasn't acted in the window he just hasn't acted in Jan window as not a huge deal in Germany. he's had 1 summer and brought in 3 first teamers in Mane Gini and Matip (first 2 for big money) and a 4th in Karius that was meant to be first team Plus a back up in Klavan.

    Remains to be seen this summer but I think we'll see him strengthen big again this summer with 3/4 big first team players like last summer.

    I seem to remember reading on here that Klopp had a massive clear out at Dortmund (he also got shot of quite a few of your squad too).

    I just checked this out.

    Season 12/13 already said he had a good one. 13/14 Villa won only 5 games between January and end of season. Benteke scored 3 goals in that entire time. 14/15 didn't score a single goal between November and early March, scored the winner v Spurs and 2 v Everton. Although Benteke scored Villas last goal of the season in their 6-1 thrashing by Southampton, the last goal of the season that kept them from relegation was scored by Cleverley. :bandit:

    Bentekes first season was brilliant because he wasn't just a big target man but he had pace as well.

    Then he suffered some injuries and has lot of which means he's more one dimensional.

    His next seasons were hit and miss - he would go for long periods without scoring and then hit a purple patch.
