I think they should be proud of their achievements so far and I wish them well for the rest of the competition. I might well watch the semi-final, if Curry's fix my telly in time.
Told the wife the England Women had moved from quarters direct to the final, she was a tad confused until I pointed out they were not over fond of semi's. As said previously, entertaining but not great football. Younger than springtime, am I.
Its a shame that you have the likes of Notts County and Bristol leading the way for womens football, Hull City Ladies could get up there with the right support which they aren't ever going to get, but say the unthinkable happens and we do win the World Cup then who knows
As the ladies team haven't been going since anywhere near 1904 I didn't think it would matter to you is all I meant.
I think Hull City should have a ladies team, regardless of how long it's been running. If we'd never had one historically, I'd want us to start one.

Reading about Fara Williams today who made her England international debut while homeless and living rough or in hostels. She said she had a football and that was a lot more than most homeless people have. She should be what the media write about in terms of kids aspiring to play football and following their dreams despite hardships. Not Joe Hart's wedding filing the backpages .
Unfortunately papers write about what people want to read about and what will sell papers. I don't think women's football will be top of their list.
It was just that given your normal lack of comprehension you might not have realised the reasons why they don't even if you think they should.
They've just announced changes to the FFP rules, to exempt any spending on Women's teams from the FFP calculations, seems a decent idea.
U.S. up 2-0 with 5 left. Looks like it will either be a U.S. England final or a repeat of the U.S. Japan final of the last World Cup.
