I don't think many football club takeovers result in a massive turnover of staff. Why should they? City has changed hands a few times over the last couple of decades and until recently we used to have people at the club who'd been here years. The Allams are notoriously and proudly ruthless when it comes to staff and they've got rid of just about everyone who'd been at the club before them. Back in 2012 when they sacked Barmby they also got rid of loads of coaching staff and other people (only months after complaining how unfair it was that Nigel Pearson had taken his assistants with him to Leicester). I know one who left about a year before that. They got rid of a heavily pregnant woman at one point and tried to get away with not giving her the money she was entitled to, but failed after it became a legal case.
You seem to forget that I know half the people who've left. It's **** all to do with potential new ownership.
Great - Well done. I did say working for the Allams may be a factor. As may other reasons. Though I'm sure if you know them all that well they'll have disclosed every single detail to you.
We're both anonymous voices on a message board, but we're meant to be believe what you say, or rather what you hint around? lol ok.
Like I said you're free to believe what you want, it makes no difference to me or anyone else. I'm happy I know the facts, you're happy to be blissfully ignorant, at the end of the day it doesn't matter to anyone but ourselves.
I know the facts. Are they the same facts as you, I wonder? But we will never know as, like yourself, I am not going to divulge my information.
Not disputing your "facts" But can you give a flavour. Only one piece of bog roll allowed per wipe by the Allams? That sort of thing. Did they reduce wages? Put in unreachable incentive schemes?
The wages are terrible, well in the roles I'm aware of but that's nothing new. The people I know are annoyed they are now expected to perform duties unrelated to their roles, which they are not trained in order just to cover for staff cuts elsewhere.
This is very accurate. For instance, what does Ehab Allam know about running a football club. Totally unrelated to his role.
Burnsy mentioned this morning, that City had recently stopped the bacon sarnies and tea at the pre-match press conferences. I'm sure the lads from Sky will survive, but it's an odd thing to do, the press are normally well looked after at all clubs and the saving must be peanuts.
This happens in the real world too. There's plenty unemployed that would just be greatful for paid work.
This is the real world, these are normal people, with normal jobs earning normal salaries, just because its a football club doesn't make it any different. Its not a case of being ungrateful, if you're not appreciated or under valued then you go elsewhere.
Which they are perfectly entitled to do. Most people probably feel undervalued in the work place, **** happens.
The malaise continues. If they don't sell we are destined to do a Blackpool. It will be a massive celebration when/if they do finally leave. The big question is will there be sufficient structure /personnel left to build from. I wonder what the Chinese consortium think they are getting for their money.
It was all about Rangers and UEFA decided to grant him temporary clearance so he could play in the league until Rangers sorted their **** out in court. It was nothing to do with us.
