I said maybe later on the basis that we give Moyes a fair go but if it doesn't work out then we can get someone back that we know will sort us out. I know a lot never rated Allardyce much but I think he was immense for us. I highly doubt it would happen though.
I wonder what the odds are for it happening. It wouldn't be the strangest thing I'd seen in football but it'd be up there.
I know Short's pissed off with him but I don't know him well enough (at all, really) to say with certainty that he'd never swallow his pride to save the club and his own business interests.
I'd have him back but there's no chance it would happen. Short's got a manager who's proved he can do it on the cheap.
I've just read today's list or transfer bung-takers. And yes, I'd take a clean Sam back in place of 'dodgy bastard' David. Or doesn't that matter when it doesn't suit?
Its just the manner of his leaving that left a bad taste, there is just far too much money swilling about, for it not to be going on.
Hasn't he made it clear to his last three clubs (at least) that if he was ever offered the England job he would want to be released. And didn't we, amongst others, agree to that from Day One?
How has this allegation against Moyes made Sam whiter than white? Bizarre seeing as it was his corruption that started this whole thing.
