My head tells me that but my heart tells me otherwise. Can't help but have a soft spot for the guy. That championship winning season...<cheers>

It is always possible we may see him in the hoops again, just looked on the website and they do sell shirts in '3XL'.

I am surprised that you put him in the same breath as these two legends, he only had flashes of brilliance, great goal in the prem against Fulham, but what else did he really do in the top division with anyone, just not consistent, I like players like him

We all saw a lot more of him than you and I'm here to tell you that he was an unbelievable talent.
There haven't been many more skillful players in all teams than Stan and Rodney.

So sad that he doesn't have the mind-set to match his God-given ability.

The point I am making is apart from adel, when is the last really skillful mid fielder, you can compare him against, without going back to the 70s, my mate raved about him when he was at spurs, but sadly his mind stopped him living up to his talent

There may have been some sort of Pavlovian conditioning amongst us fans but every time he had the ball, the energy and expectancy in the crowd rose as we knew he might do something special at any time. Very sad to see all that talent squandered.

Cardiff away in our promotion season
A rainy Tuesday night Barnsley away - our promotion season

    That Boxing Day Massacre

On his day he was up there with the Rangers legends

At his worst? Well Fulham, buses and the term 'idiot' spring to mind
