Bristol City are close to signing defender Yohan Tavares. The 28-year-old is currently a free agent after being released by Portuguese side Estoril at the end of last season. The France-born centre-back had previously been linked with a move to Sheffield Wednesday earlier this summer as they looked for defensive reinforcements. However, according to Portuguese news outlet Notícias ao Minuto, Tavares is now set to join Bristol City. A move is said to have been agreed in principle and the player's agent is now thrashing out the finer details of the contract. Tavares, meanwhile, is working on his fitness in France ahead of his expected medical this week. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yohan_Tavares please log in to view this image Yohan Tavares Read more at http://talksport.com/football/brist...ree-transfer-160926211319#aBRs3etR6BcZSjvo.99
Am i missing something here, why do we need another defender when we have Moore available who had a excellent game against Fulham in the cup and Ekstrand here.
We still have a relatively small squad compared to others in this division. Ekstrand is injury prone and only on a one year contract. Picking up a decent defender on a freebie is a bit of a no brainer really
We need more so when they've had a bad game and you tell us they are not worth the shirt. We need a squad of about 60 mind based on that theory
You didn't want Moore in the team the other week and wanted Flint out. This will give the Manager the changes you want, if Flint makes a mistake on comes Elksrtand. If Elksrtand makes a mistake on comes this Tavares and Moore might get a game as well all before half time.
