We only took 15 players to Stevenage, and Andreu still can't get a look in? Wow. It does seem like KL is about his level though.

I hope we see the likes of Ramsay, Cantwell and Middleton out on loan this season.

 

According to DF (Dave Freezer, not our head coach!!) Andreu is having a good game. He's scored twice and city now leading 4-1.

 

3 trialists played in that match as well, will be interesting to see if any of them sign.

 

Some under 23 fixtures in PL 2 coming up in the next few months - tickets are free if you go into one of their shops in Castle Mall/Chapelfield or you can have them posted to you.


Edit - I see Middleton has now been promoted to Scotland's Under 19 team and yet he is still only 17!!!

 

Have never been to an U23 game before but might go to the Stoke game next Friday now that I know how cheap it is to park in the Castle Mall car park after 6:00PM

Disappointing news about Jamal Lewis, has had an operation and won't be in contention for U23 or senior football until 2018. Toffolo is still out too.

 

That's 3 promising youffs out till next year if you include Thompson!!

 

Toffolo played 90 minutes for the U23's tonight, so he can't be that far off fit.

So Glenn Middleton is off to Serbia to represent Scotland at under 19 (he's still ONLY 17!!), with the first match tonight.
From the SFA website - "Included in the 20-man squad this time around features a number of promising players who guided the under-17s to their fourth consecutive European finals earlier this year.
Glenn Middleton of Norwich, Jack Aitchison of Celtic and Jonny Mitchell of Falkirk are all included along with Zak Rudden who scored two goals in his last two games for the under-17s."

 

Scotland Under19 3-3 Ukraine Under 19. A goal from Glenn Middleton and a Callum Smith double saw the game end in a draw.

 

Has anyone picked up on young Abrahams having his loan back to Leyton Orient cancelled?

Carlton Morris was "EFL Star of the Day" yesterday, with a goal and an assist for Shrewsbury. Godfrey also played 90 minutes (in the last two games they've used him as a DM), whilst Adams was an unused sub.

 

The youths are in action against a Lowestoft Senior side. 1-0 up at half time, the new kid from Arsenal Mourgos has scored.

Abrahams was VERY impressive against Stoke under 23s.

Our under 23s earned a draw against Toon under 23s at SJP last night and the opposition featured Jonjo Shelvey, as he comes back from his suspension.

Don't forget - The young Canaries return to PL2 action on Sunday when they take on Blackburn Rovers at Carrow Road in a 2pm kick-off and tickets are FREE and can be ordered n-line and printed at home or go into the ticket office or one of the shops in Castle Mall/Chapelfield!!!
