    Well I've dumped Leicester.

Currently Chelsea are my second team.

If there was a team's results I looked out for (other than ours) it would be Boro

This year I'm death riding them... although typically our worst performance of the season was against them

Since I was 8 yrs old it has been Sunderland. First saw City play a day before my 8th birthday 1946 and Sunderland aged 10 for that birthday.

Back in the day I think we spent a fair old amount. Certainly more than other teams in Leagues 1 and 2. McPhee, Ricketts and Turner cost nearly £1m between them. Stuart Greeen was £150,000, Duffy was £250,000 and Billy Paynter also cost £150,000. For a lower league club, we paid decent money to get some key players in.

We've gone from being big fish in a small pond, to little fish in an ocean.

It's been fun, if a little annoying at times.

I haven't got a second team in England, or anywhere really. I don't count internationals, the country you support has no bearing on the club. I keep an eye on the results of Hearts, Walsall, Lincoln and Northampton due to uni friends.

NFL I follow Tampa Bay, simply because it's the only team I've watched live and I've been to the ground a few times. They're naff, but I like them.

Most of these were bought in the Championship seasons 2005-2007.

From memory only Green and Duffy were not.
We were getting big gates in L2 and L1, spending was proportionate.

Burnley. ( my great mac nurse )
Leicester City ( my brilliant surgeon )
Stockport county ( my great friend )

Not really second teams but I have good friends who support those teams.

Of course I always want City to beat everyone and prefer that two of those teams finish well below us

Moved to Hurworth-on-Tees when I was 13. Darlo was about 3 miles away so I used to go and watch them and they'll always have a soft spot in my heart. Boro built a brilliant training facility at Rockliffe (in Hurworth) but they're still ****s and always will be. We were back in the UK for Christmas 2000 and my son and I watched them train one frosty morning. Steve McQueen was moving pylons and markers around, Terry Venables was working with the players and Bryan Robson, all bundled up, was bitching about how cold it was. He noticed my son (about 18 at the time and wearing shorts) and asked, "Aren't you cold." My son replied, "This is warm, it's about -30 at home." Robson's response was, "****ing hell." I said nowt ... another good player who couldn't deliver in management.

I hate every other English team equally - except TWS - and could never hope another team wins unless it directly benefits us.
