I think it's the inverse, Markovic's final ball is excellent, Niasse didn't gamble vs Arsenal

Abel is the only real goalscorer and he's unfit and hasn't impressed Silva as yet

I don't agree mate. Abel is a sulker and IMO is not a true team player. On the flip side Niase has slotted in brilliantly and seems to actually give a ****.
    It's all about opinions though.

I hope you're right since Diomande fluffs his lines every time and Mbokani hasn't even scored a goal..
But yes, Niasse's attitude seems spot on and that's a positive

We'll always be having doubts with City but the big factor for me is Silva's attitude and the way he seems to have changed the outlook of the team. We are still guilty of missing chances but our style of play has been pleasing to watch and we look more likely to be able to win matches than we did 3 months ago. Silva seems to be getting the very best out of the team; the new signings seem to add well to what we have and the likes of Maguire and Huddlestone are showing excellent form. I certainly don't think we'll stay up at a canter but I have more faith now than I have for a while. I guess we'll have a fair indication of our chances once the next 3 games have passed.

I think Silva will be the tactical genius we all think he is, meaning we will finish mid table, paving the way for Silva to join Arsenal as Wenger's replacement.
Hope only the first part is correct obviously.
I think it's his style of management that will appeal to a team near the top, his record ain't too shabby either.

Stating the bleeding obvious I know, but the key is how we perform against those around us. It's one thing beating a team that's expected to beat you anyway, and will be expansive and attacking, it's a whole different thing when the roles are reversed, and we need to win, but we've got to break down a defensive minded opposition.

Can Silva get the mentality right for the additional pressure, and frustrating tactics? I reckon so. I'm an optimist, if there's an unknown situation, and you're only inventing the future, you may as well invent a positive outcome and prepare and plan as well as possible to help you deal with any set backs if and when they arise.

Such is Hull's improvement, I hope Dyche "parks the bus" on Saturday and a 0-0 draw would compensate somewhat for being knocked out of the FA Cup - I am certainly glad we do not have a replay between two vital away games against yourselves and Swansea. I'd be delighted with two 0-0 draws from these games.

We only had one of our regular back four against Lincoln and should play the back four that drew with Chelsea ...- Lowton, Keane, Mee and Ward.

Spot on. Also, re. the mental pressure of these more winnable games, whilst I was against mass change in the team by Marco, this may work in our favour. The players brought in by him will not have the "monkey on their shoulders" of the fear of failure mentality, losing, relegation and consequences, as each game to most of them is just another game to go out and play, put themselves in the shop window with no fear, free in the knowledge that they can move on in the summer.

It's certainly going to be exciting months ahead, squeaky bum time, nail biting, let's hope Marco can deliver the miracle and get us over the line. Onwards and upwards.

Hasn't changed mine, I'm optimistic that we can stay up, but not in the top half.

No, the teams already in the top 10 will keep winning I reckon, there's usually a gap opening up around March/April time. To get into the top ten you'd need to hope the top ten lose games so we can gain ground and then we still have to win all of ours, assuming all of the teams above us in the bottom half also don't win any games to gain ground, meaning we won't catch them.

    Perfect outcomes are possible Dennis.
You just have to stay posative.

For some strange reason it really helps.
