And I suppose Milner should have stayed on in the land of the deluded Kopite?

You're without doubt the biggest cry arse about supposed refereeing injustice that I've ever come across (and bare in mind I've known Donga for years ffs <laugh>)

Literally every week, the ref is 'bent' and denying dem Red Men decision after decision. Yet you've had no red cards given against you all season and have been awarded 7 penalties.

I don't think the ref was bent yesterday, just bloody useless for both sides. He missed penalties, bad fouls, persistent fouling. He basically bottled the big decisions and missed the obvious ones. The game could easily have been won by either team based on a crap decision.

Hopefully we get a decent ref for the derby so the best team wins.....that's us by the way!

He had a poor game, he's as weak as piss. But there's no way the 'injustice' was how astro is trying to portray it.

A draw was a fair result and both teams seemed happy enough with it, so no great harm done I suppose. Ultimately ****e finishing from both sides was the most telling factor.

You get to choose the ref every season for the derby #standard
It'll probably be 'our Mark' or Penalty to Liverpool Atkinson

I am hoping for that recently qualified ref Carragher, he was a blue when he was younger so would be unbiased I am sure:bandit:

A lot of my mates from school are EFC fans and we have a school reunion on 1/4/17. I might be staying at a mates in Liverpool that night. He has suggested I go up in the morning and we can watch the match in the Storrsdale Pub, Mossley Hill with his EFC mates. Dare I risk it?

We got a pen that was a pen, and were denied one that could have been given. Nothing about that connected to the undisputed fact that City were denied one (indeed, twice in the same incident). Can't see the correlation between that and the undeniable fact that Toure should have been sent off, and that BBC Salford and Sky tried to brush it under the carpet either.

I'd glady accept Milner going off if we had a fair and objective application of the rules for the entire game

Even with Milner off we'd have 2 extra men and destroy them

Are you a Man Utd fan in disguise? 7 penalties means nothing if we deserved 20 and were denied 13 stonewallers

the same Atkinson who never sent Barkley off, or Miralles either a few seasons ago for his attempted amputation of Luis.

I said they should have had a pen (and probably a sending off), and I've also stated the ref was garbage to both. But, and I will keep banging-on about this, there is no ****ing way on God's green earth that is not a sending-off for Toure, and to answer your previous point it is ****ing irrelevant if he meant it or not - it was uncontrolled, reckless and over the ball. You've got form for this - I well remember you, when we thrashed Spurs 5-0 at The Lane, crying to all who'd listen that the Spurs player who'd stuck his foot in Suarez's chest (and twisted it for good effect) and had been sent off had done that accidentally too.

And what's more, Fernandinho did get away with at least seven or eight worse fouls than those which both Matip and Firmino were booked for, but in fairness, he did let Can off with a ridiculous pull back 30 yards inside the City half. So I agree with your analysis (never liked Oliver since he gave WBA a pen at Anfield that was two yards outside the box, and even Alan Smith doubted it), but when others rattle on about the incidents in the game, there's no ****ing way that challenge should just be airily dismissed, as you and BBC Salford would obviously wish.

As anyone pointed out that players no longer get sent off for denying a goalscoring opportunity should the opposition receive a penalty as result of said foul? No? Thought not...
