What a negative depressing world you try to force on us all in to ....glass half empty all the time....never half full with optimism for the future.

PS....you added those later paragraphs (11mins after) I had posted....so I hadn't seen them then....all down to interpretation isn't it anyway.

PPS.....read a bit of James Dyson and see the future is possible outside of the U.S.of Europe.

It's hardly interpretation plym. Those points are what has been stated so far. Your points are to dismiss the statements as not true even though it can only be your opinion and not based on anything we actually know. Having a daughter who was born in Gibraltar, I can say that without Brexit there would not be a current question about that place and it is only because of Brexit that it is being asked now. That's a fact and nothing to do with the other fact that they have always wanted Gib back. To be fair to them it is tagged onto the end of their country.

Yes there are a few idiots in charge of companies. He's one being a boffin rather than a businessman. That scruffy git that runs Wetherspoons is another. They are a tiny minority though.

Gibralter has been on the political agenda for Spain at the least opportunity for years and years.....brexit is just one more moment of stirring the pot for the Spaniards.....a bargaining power for Spain to squeeze more concessions out of us and the EU to help their failing economy and financial situation.....them and Greece are slipping through the net and Germany have nearly had enough of them......a veto against the UK's withdrawal is a bargaining plus towards them getting more concessions from the EU......all about money.

PS......I blame notDistant for stirring this subject up again.....tell him to behave.

Yes you are right. Gibraltar was not much of an issue despite regular Spanish provocations. Now however it's on an agenda vital to our prosperity thanks to Brexit. Maybe we should threaten to withdraw military support to the Baltic states. That sound like a good ploy? Or did May already say that in her Article 50 letter?

Whatever the past on Gib it is still absolute fact that only Brexit has raised the subject again. Had the vote gone the other way then Spain would not be waving their flag now. failing economy or not.

The post vote lull is still in force but it is coming to an end and the real world beckons. When it does go tits up, and I believe it will to the detriment of the UK then you nay sayers to Europe will have no choice but to admit you fecked up big time. Too late however. I won't be a sore loser I will be a loser in a lot of ways and it will be you people's fault.

I don't go along with this "It's a British Territory" crap if I'm honest and never have. Gibraltar is tagged on to Spain and is a dot on the bottom of their map. The reasons we keep it are no longer realistic and it costs us. We are part of NATO for feck sake. Why do we need a stratigic site on the entrance to the Med. As for the Falklands that is even less our's. Why do we keep an interest? Oil is the answer to that one and eventually we would hope to extract it from there or that region. Why do the Falklanders want to stay with us? Because we spend another fortune there every year and they have prospered on it. I don't subscribe to these outposts of Empire I'm afraid.

On another subject I met a lovely Steward today at the ground. He was a real charmer. At the end of the game or with only a couple of minutes to go I went for a pee using exit 10. When done I went back to the back of the tunnel just to listen to the rest of the game. A bloke walked past me to get back into the ground presumably having also done the relief routine. This Steward tried to stop him going back in. No reason to just because he thought he could. The bloke ignored him anyway and walked back into the ground. Didn't stand in the way of anyone or in the tunnel just went back to a seat. "Fecking Nob" shouted the Steward after him. This wound me up a bit and I couldn't help commenting. "Do you think you should be swearing at customers and calling them names" I asked. Yes was his reply I get fed up with fecking nobs and having to put up with crap all day it's waring. He's a paying customer I said and perhaps you're in the wrong job. I've got another one he said and I'll stand here in front of you so you can't see now. He promptly did. What an attitude. The original bloke did nothing aggresive towards him and apart from questioning his comments neither did I. If that's what the Stewards do then no wonder they get crap all day long. I keep reading about people reporting abusive Stewards to Argyle and Argyle doing nothing about any of it. No wonder they struggle for customers at times if that's their attitude toward their customers as well. I read a story on pasoti tonight posted by a season ticket holder and his experience with a steward today. He has written to Argyle and other people are telling him he is wasting his time. He is saying that if Argyle do ignore him he and his family may not renew their season tickets in the future. I wouldn't go that far but I don't blame him when you read his story.

Never mind the Falklands, we no longer have a Navy capable of "fighting" a new Cod War. All those Westcountry fishermen who voted for Brexit in the expectation of a 200 mile limit are going to be very disappointed.

I can't tell you who PM is Joe. If I did I would have to shoot you. (M)yself and James (lyndhurst) Bond are entered into secret work. It's need to know and if you do need to know you will have to join the Q. :emoticon-0127-lipss

I don't think we should rely on Trump for anything. The only Special Relationships he has are with his hairdresser and the Russians.

Been reading pages of stewarding complaints on pasoti.....unbelievable comments.......do you think they let out the local inmates from police cells topped up with a few from Dartmoor to do the stewarding at Argyle ?

My daughter and family are in the air flying to the US of A as I type. They are going to Washington as part of the trip so maybe they will visit the White House.

My grandson is quite good at Trumping so hopefully he might leave one there if he does visit. Most things that come out of that place stink so why not.
