And Luton draw. We need 2 points from 4 games, is that right?

Ex-Argyle player Vassell comes on as sub.... and scores the equalizer......typical.

Correct, 1 point only, just looked at the new table.

Surely we do it on Monday although as as somebody just Tweeted: Big game, probably big crowd, usually means one thing! No Argyle! Please......not this time!!!

Good luck Pompey, we'd be very happy for you to tag along behind :emoticon-0116-evilg

Torquay winning 1-0 at 86 minutes......lose 2-1....giving goals away in the 86 & 88 minutes......looking like they might slip down another division.

We need 5 points to guarantee promotion. With four it would go down to goal difference and we have a +9 advantage over Luton atm. That's assuming Luton don't drop a point. Seeing us promoted against Cambridge is still on the cards!

Phew!!!! It's bleddy hard watching on the TV isn't it. Thought both teams were really going for it for the first 15 to 20 minutes. Argyle score and you could see them dropping off as per usual. The answer to your question re the bus parking Wooperts is of course we do away from home. Why not and 13 wins this season parking a bus or not you would love it was Pompey. Argyle are not paid to entertain at away grounds just pick up points where they can. I don't accept the "how much did the Ref cost" either. Absolutely no way was he unfair to either side. I thought after seeing him at our place when we played Leyton Orient that he was crap. No actually worse than crap. But thought today he did well. You can't have penalties every week and you have had more than your fair share this season already.

Think for us the job is done even if we aren't quite over the line yet. I can see no circumstances where we won't get one more point and Luton will pick up a maximum out of four games. I'm still convinced you chaps will join us also even if it will take a wee bit more. No reports of any problems at the ground so well done to everyone.

I thought both teams looked very good today - and credit where credit is due your goal was excellent....I thought the comment about Stevens not being in the right position was harsh...in real time that cross was instant and perfect and the header unstoppable. We definitely deserved at least the draw....here's to Lge 1 for both of us. All being well.

Had a cracking day out. Decent drive up and even better one back down. Have to say that from start to finish the Portsmouth staff looked after us really well. Thought the first 20 mins were great by Argyle and the atmosphere, as always, was superb. Think Bradley will be okay but not sure about Kennedy-he limped down the tunnel after being subbed. Hopefully Monday will sellout and we can celebrate in style. Looking forward to playing Pompey again next season.

Totally agree Eastney. Very good advert for league 2. Watched Brighton win this evening and the football was not superior to our game. Draw was fair enough I think. Possession doesn't win games and there are two sides to playing. Attacking and defending. No good being great at one if you can't do the other. We have learned to defend very well which says a lot on our away record this season. No disgrace for not beating us. Liverpool couldn't do it at their place and I don't accept their protests that it was a second string of kids either. You lot will be fine though<ok>

That was a very good game of football and a great advert for League 2 broadcast live on Sky across the country. I have no doubt that both teams will be in League 1 next season.

Argyle started brightly and scored a magnificent goal, but after twenty minutes Pompey turned the screw and basically had Argyle in a headlock for the majority of the next 70 minutes. Especially in the second half the midfield didn't function, your striker couldn't hold the ball up and this resulted in wave after wave of Pompey attacks.

The Argyle defence organised a magnificent rearguard action and in the end did the main job, which was not to lose the match.

A priceless away point on the way to promotion <ok>

    Cheers PGF <ok>

Good to hear everything was friendly at Fratton lyndhurst. The volume on the box was pretty loud and you could hear the GA doing their thing a lot of the time. There won't be many games in higher leagues with that much vocal support and passion.

He certainly has Wooperts but with no intention of spending it on a sports team. Just as well though as I think his shops are a crock of s*** and he would be far too down market for us. He will probably fit in well on the IOW from what I saw when I visited there.

My appologies Wooperts. You all sound the same to me......:D

You obviously visited Sandown - completely rundown. You should have gone to Seaview or Bembridge....
